Ain't you the same rude person who's written on another post BARKING AT someone who asked a question which has been responded to, however the person who asked then did not read the reply, thereafter you had no patience got power mad and started throwing your weight on barking at them saying how they are not replying Maybe just maybe look in mirror and take your own advice get off your high horse. Staff don't give you right to act all rude and aggressive. Also I messaged him privately from this chat Mistakenly Thinking he put the question up so just asking if he found a solution. He's privately messaged being very very rude And btw not everyone sits on forums looking at every post some people may just use them when they need or/and search specifics as they require so sometimes they may miss something. So by sending a friendly message asking for advice is not abnormal. Mate genuinely you GTA stay calm because I assume you genuinely must a be nice helpful chap but the way you write just comes across very rude and offensive

This is what vcds shows on scan but likes said above all wires can see and Access all are fine

Btw for the locking also checked the wire loom from behind speaker and between door and boddy no cut wires or fraid ones. For the remote windows opening closing tried the vcds comfort operation procedure on both vcds and the car menu but still windows don't go down with key remote Super confused on the door and now this remote window thing. Please can anyone help .

Hi all Looked on few posts but couldn't really get a answer regarding cour issue So Our rear passenger door locked but won't unlock unless unlock manually from inside then can open close as normal However the second lock with key and then retry then same as above won't open until manually unlocked from inside Child lock is Not on Initially a while back this would work intermittently bit now doesn't work at all So as per pic bought replacement control module Items part number same as ours Plugged it and it then car would NOT LOCK AT ALL lol. Also when trying to open window the switch would in opposite way meaning when press as usual to open window it would close it and when press to close it would open it Also the windows would not come down as before when keeping the key remote unlock button pressed Our question Does this new unit need coding ? Tried to find some vcds tutorial but no luck but got to admit not a professional hen e this long question If it does need coding please can someone help with al ink or something or advice on what to do on vcds to code it? Alternatively if part number is same and it's plug and play and. O coding is needed then we assume the replacement parts come faulty. For now put our old one back on and door, car locks and windows work as normal BUT the feature of keeping unlock button pressed letting windows to open does not work Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance Picture is of the new part

So another DIY job been putting it off since we got car. The cd player is messed up. Want to get replacement off eBay. Two silly questions 1.if part number is same then is it simply plug and play or would it require coding 2.currently car has sensors no reversing camera. If installed one could it be a OEM style where it works on screen when selecting reverse. If so is there hardware wire ports ect on existing unit or would additional hardware be required And as above would a camera need to be installed also please see attached link seen this so wondered is is a easier option https://a.aliexpress.com/_EIBLyhq Once again thanks in advance

Hi all late update apologies. So got another airbag got lucky was correct part number simple plug and play and AH no errors. Nice one all appreciate the help

Ye sid the small black plug one is correct one . The two we have at present are wrong think they off a Audi A1

Thanks when search eBay for A6 c7 airbags it shows the ones as picture 1 above .so thinking of buying that.unless Besides eBay anyone here knows anyone for reliable parts ect. Thanks

Don't know if this helps mate we had no heating changed the heater matrix though no luck turned out it was the coolant control valve sits under windscreen on passenger side under scruttle panel. Easy access and removal Brand like febi cost 60/70 approx Though we had no heat at all . So may not apply to your situation Hope that helps

Sorry for late update. Waiting on parts and been busy ect So got a new airbag. Turns out one in car was a wrong one. It had two connections. So the idiot who owned it before did the resistor hack to fool car. So now the new airbag is wrong too as we bought using the old ones model number which was wrong too. So..... Our question is As we don't have the original steering wheel airbag we don't know which is the part number So if we bought a Audi A6 c7 airbag with the CORRECT connectors ect what would we need to do for it work on the car Would it need coding if so would vcds have capacity to code a airbag with a different part number to work on our car Again thanks in advance See pictures picture one is what it SHOULD be like Picture 2 is what we bought on the original bag the harness was same as picture 1 however so on the connector were not connected and the two airbag yellow ones had a resistor mad tape over them
