What’s the LED on the drivers door card for, thought it was the alarm but mind don’t flash or am I barking up the wrong tree.

Well had the car for 4 days and opened car this morning and locked it at work just fine, left work came home and the doors will not lock via the fob. The fob opened the doors but not lock it and the mirrors will not retract, had to use the actual key in the fob to lock car. Any ideas before I blow a fuse with the dealer?

I’ve checked that site out as well thanks. Also I’ve noticed that I’m getting zero satellite connections so either the fins had its day or the cable itself? Not my day.

Well I collected my new toy today a 2014 A6 avant s line black edition. Originally there was no card for the satnav but the dealer purchased one but it’s 2014 so…… What can I do to get the latest maps? The software version is: RMC_EU_P12321. Looked around on the net but can’t seem to find a way. Anyone with pointers? Thanks.

Yes history looks all ok just looking for a car that looks the part, goes, peanuts on tax and way less fuel cost compared to my 3.0L Discovery 4.

Right I’m stuffed, well! Im part ex my current car LR Discovery 4 for a Audi A6 this Saturday but my LR has a private plate. DVLA will not allow me to carryout a retention because of missing tax history within 5 years. So I have to send off to DVLA the V5 and a form plus the £80 quid to get a new V5 with the old reg and a retention cert. But in the mean time the car dealer has a LR with no V5 and no plates? Anyone know what the turnaround time frame is to get a retention cert and V5 back from DVLA and I’m hoping the dealer is willing to wait. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Thanks Steve much appreciated. Ive asked the questions about the belts and servicing and they said if it’s not in the paperwork it will be done. I presume the rest is down to luck and It’s not Quattro. One of the niggling things in the back of my head is…… I went to the car sales and could not find the car, so went back the next day and found it inside the actual garage not on the forecourt? This gives us alarm bells like is it inside because they are trying to hide water leaks etc?

Well good day all. I may purchase the following…… 2014 A6 C7 Black edition 2014 1 owner 114k miles The main reason is space, tax, fuel and I’m coming from a Land Rover Discovery 4 that cost me £710 a year in tax and £100 a week in fuel. So can anyone point me what I should look for in this car as in faults etc etc. Regards.
