  1. Hi all. A lot has gone on with this issue and up to now, no real progress. I had the battery checked and it was in bad shape so I had that replaced. For a brief period, there were no further issues.....and then out of nowhere they were back on. More research highlighted another place to check. Under the backseat is a J533 module that is responsible for all communication to all ECUs. I have taken the back seat off, disconnected the module, checked the grounding point was secure and plugged it all back in. Lights are clear and no codes, even better news is that I can't seem to trigger the issue by moving around on the seats. Not tempting fate just yet but so far, so good.
  2. OK thanks, I'll get the battery checked and I have an auto electrician coming 3rd June so I'll get the module checked too. Appreciate your time. Andy
  3. Hi Steve, I have no idea if the battery is original. I got the car 1 year ago so was 11 years old when I got it. I assume the battery will have a manufacture date on there somewhere. Andy
  4. Afternoon all, I hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather while we have it. I am new to this club so please bear with me. I am the owner of an Audi A6 Avant S Line (2012). Little help please. Sporadically, when driving, I will have multiple warning lights come on (TC, tyre pressure, coil light etc) as well as things like headlight adjuster fail, electric handbrake fail, loss of power and speedo/rev counter shut down. The only consistent condition that seems to trigger all of the above is when it is damp or wet weather. I am also able to trigger the warning lights by leaning over on the drivers side seat. Local garages are baffled and say it is probably a job for Audi. I am keen to avoid that bill so hoping someone here may have experienced the same and diagnosed the problem. Thanks in advance for any guidance.
