Hi, me again. When trying to troublseshoot my Aircon issue, I was going through the fuses. When checking the cluster in the boot I noticed one was labeled “Quattro Sport”. It’s a 35amp fuse and missing from mine. to be honest I’m not sure if it’s meant to be missing but i had a gear box issue fixed and when it came back sport mode didn’t work. I won’t bore you with the reasons why I left it, but other than that the gearbox has been fine, but I wonder if this fuse has been forgotten? I’ve tried to search online but that just returns searches relating to the sound-system/Amp. 2012 Q5 S-Line+ Anyone with any ideas
  2. Good morning all, Ever since we got our Q5 the aircon has never worked. It’s one of those things “I’ll get done next month” but next month never arrives. Anyway, I’ve actually got on with it and took it to be re-gassed. Still didn’t work. The blowers work, normal heating works, the controls all work, it just won’t get cold. I’ve even check all the fuses. I realise it going to have to go in to be looked but thought I’d raise it here in case it is a driveway job and if not, at least know what I’m looking at. It’s a 2012 S-Line Quattro Thanks in advance.
  3. Hey everyone. i have a 2012 Q5 S-Line Quattro and I noticed the air-con wasn’t getting cold. I took it to get re-gassed and that hasn’t fixed it. The blowers all work and blow air, as do the fan speed settings? Any ideas. Is there a part that needs replacing, is it DIYable etc? Any help/advice/knowledge gratefully received.
  4. We bought our 2012 Q5 Quattro S-Line Auto about 6weeks ago. We love it. It quickly showed up a fault though, when it started not reversing properly. Short story and not uncommon, it needed a new clutch. We finally got it back about a week ago and I've just realised that I can't toggle between "Drive" and "Sport" modes. I could before and but since the work I can't. Clearly it is not a "mechanical" issue as such because the minimal travel on the gear stick suggests it is just a switch which changes the gearbox and engine mapping. Other than this it is driving absolutely perfectly, I'm just missing a mode. Obviously it will be going back to the garage that did the work but does anyone have any idea what may have caused this so I'm a little more informed. Perhaps there's a really simple fix I can do at home? Thanks in advance
