Hi Gareth The mechanic only had it for a day. He came out to it today and seems to be sorted now. He reckons the crankshaft position sensor was the cause. Thanks for the reply! Martin

Hi I'm hoping someone can help me. I've just had the timing belt and water pump changed on my a5 2.0 tdi quattro. The first time I went for a drive it showed a start stop fault followed by a Drive system fault. It seems to be driving and idling well. The mechanic drove it to my home after the work was completed and didn't mentions any faults.
