  1. Update ! Got a call from Audi customer service on Friday with a fix for the issue. We carried out a reset to factory settings over the phone and reconfigured the MMI using the code off the scratch off card. Reconfigured the MyAudi app and Apple CarPlay following the instructions on screen. All settings appear to be being saved. It held out over the weekend and was OK when I went to work this morning. The most difficult bit was pairing my phone with the car. I found the best solution was to pair it with Bluetooth and then switch to WiFi at the prompt on the screen. So far so good, but we will see how it pans out this week.
  2. I am on version 4143
  3. My A3 is due to go in for repair in October. I will update everyone then. Cheers
  4. Thanks Mick - I await your next post
  5. Called Audi Financial Services - complaint raised and I am awaiting a response too !
  6. Hi Everyone, Quick update, well I got the call from the dealer this morning telling me not to bring my car in tomorrow morning as they do not have a fix for the MMI software issue. Well, we knew that didn't we. Anyway the service guy informed me that there have been a lot of complaints in regards to this issue that Audi UK have finally got off their collective backsides and are now giving this issue their highest priority to sort out. The issue has been escalated and they are now looking at October to have the fix sorted out. I have been given a new date to take my A3 back in of the 25th October. I am however, going to take this up with the sales manager as I think a reduction in my PCP payments are in order. Cheers
  7. Hi Everyone, I am with Audi Warrington and it has not been great. First of all I picked up the car in Jun 20th and had to go to Glasgow for the weekend. I thought it a great shake down cruise. I noticed the radio resetting issues from day one but thought nothing of it until it happened almost daily. First I thought it was me not having something set up correctly ! On the way back my rear number plate came loose and was hanging off. I took it back next day and they fixed it immediately, apparently its was attached with the wrong clips. The next issue was with the puddle lights. With my Black Edition it is supposed to have the Audi Rings shining on the floor, mine didn't so, I called them up and explained and then arranged to take it back in to have the LEDs changed, they only replaced them with the same LEDs ! So, back it went and I played hell with them. The next issue was they did not settle my previous PCP deal timely so I had an extras payment of £390 go out that I was not expecting. So, on the phone again and played !Removed! hell. I did get the money back however. Finally I paid £295 for the 4 year warranty, I have received no official paperwork that this has gone through. All I have is a screenshot of the email request to the warranty dept. All that is left now is MMI issue. The car is going in on the 22nd and if there is no satisfactory outcome I will be putting in a complaint to VW finance and asking for compensation and a reduction in PCP payments for the inconvenience. I really like the car and all its features but this MMI issue is really annoying me.
  8. My A3 is due to go into the dealership on the 22nd of this month. I will let everyone know what happens
  9. Going to try my luck - I am booked in at the dealer on the 22nd August for a diagnostic on the MMI system. We will see.
  10. On a happier note I now have some email evidence in regards to my 4 year warranty. Just the MMI issue to sort out now
  11. I am in the same boat David. Love the car but this damn MMI issue is really spoiling it for me. On another note I have paid £295 for the 4 year warranty and I have had no paperwork in regards to this despite emailing them a number of times. I am getting no joy out of them. Rang customer service and they have no idea what I am talking about ! I even directed them to their own website.
  12. Cheers Graeme
  13. Hi Everyone, I have read through the replies and I have been through the Audi customer service route, they are supposedly referring my case back to the dealership. I have also emailed the dealership yet again to try to sort this out. I have also bought the 4 year extended warranty for £295 and have not had any paperwork back concerning it. If I hear nothing back by Monday I will start a formal complaint. Thanks everyone
  14. Hi, I have just come across your post. I have a brand new A3 S-line black edition. I have the same problem, it happens at least once per day for me. No-one seems to have a definitive answer.
