  1. Humdrum - did you need to be parked in an area with strong LTE connectivity showing? apologies if dumb question
  2. Humdrum / When you reset yourself - can you explain a little further. factory reset via MMI settings correct? but what did you do precisely on the app yourself - deleted the app and started again or logged out then logged back in using just your Audi user name and password - not that QR method? Thanks Dan
  3. I put in a call to Audi customer service on Friday essentially asking for the same - have formally escalated. Waiting for a response.
  4. Wonder if the route to go down is a financial services ombudsman instead? Given they are essentially selling finance agreements rather than cars.
  5. Not at all Mick. I work in Corp comms for Tech businesses and your analysis is spot on - and mirrors my own experience of working with Testing practices of large global IT services providers who run huge Testing businesses offshore and at SaaS businesses.
  6. I guess it’s time to go back to Audi customer relations - I logged the case within the first 3 weeks of having the car.
  7. Update from me as promised for this group. Took the a3 Sportback in today to local Audi dealer - who confirmed that there are issues with the MMI software. They carried out an investigation into MMI issues - in my case this was manifesting as the MMI not storing radio favourites for more than 3 days, after this it reverts to 88.3mhz. (- a random frequency). And the set up wizard then typically returns and asks to set up the system again every 3 days. They have confirmed the issues are with the MMI and found relevant information from Audi confirming the fault. The current advice from Audi to the dealer is to postpone a repair fix until this fix is due for release in December 2024. so this is the very latest advice hot off the press today - 09 August.
  8. This is very interesting. I have 4143 software version on my new a3 (collected on 23 June) - BUT exactly the same MMI software version as you.
  9. What did they say was the root cause of your previous MMI issues, out of interest?
  10. How did you ensure they raised a technical service request Graeme - want to make sure I do the same on 09 August and I don’t get messed about. Thanks Dan
  11. I thought I had resolved this - car went for 3 days without losing radio favourites - that’s the longest yet! But unfortunately it resorted back losing them all again this morning!
  12. Remember I had a previous non facelift a3 brand new model in April - but returned and swapped it due to MHEV issues. That generation of MMI worked fine. The issue for me is absolutely this latest generation MMI. They’ve clearly rushed the software for this latest generation without fully testing. Thanks for all the valuable insights so far - will be playing these back to local dealer on the 09th.
