  1. yeah im about to go out and have a look
  2. Its a Febi Bilstein but its the other side that has the camber issue
  3. its the old spring thats shorter
  4. I normally replace all suspension and brake components as pairs but this was a case of needing to get it moved ASAP so only 1 side was done Anyway tomorrow I'm going to whip the rear wheels off and check everything, I did measure the spring and the old spring (the side with the most camber) is around 10mm shorter Also considering weather i should just bite the bullet and put it in for alignment and let them tell me what I need, I have 2 VAG specialist less than a mile away in the same industrial estate..........................or maybe i should just get a new spring, lower arm thing and 2 bolts then put it in? God knows 😬
  5. Does anyone know what the rear camber angle should be? My nearside rear seems to have quite a lot of negative camber and a lot more the the offside, the nearside i believe to original from when it left the factory but the offside does have a new spring and lower arm (if thats what its called, where the spring sits) Yes I know i should get it fully aligned and will do in due course
  6. so went out with my little smoke machine and got a least on the bottom hose at the turbo, it wasn't loose but there should be 2 torx bolts and i only have 1, removed it and it looks like I'm missing the o-ring/seal that goes inside, I am assuming there is a seal meant to be there as it does have a groove for 1. Anyone know what that would be called and if its available on it own? Pics attached Thanks
  7. Yeah sorry I forgot to mention its a 2.0 TDI CFFB
  8. Thanks Would it still be a leak if it runs fine with the MAF unplugged?
  9. So the noise is on when light throttle, if giving it some beans it will go away and eventually come back, when there is no noise is drives fine, when the noise is there is clearly down on power There are no codes, if i unplug the MAF there sound is gone and it drives perfect (but throws up a code), ive tried another MAF and its the same result, if i unplug the wastegate actuator the sound is gone but down on power and again throws up a code The noise is coming from the back of the engine, around the middle where the turbo is I've uploaded a quick clip of the noise HnVideoEditor_2024_07_25_195842386.mp4
