  1. Yeah perhaps, I'll take another look. I was performing a U-Turn and mounted a curb (a left over pedestrian crossing from roadworks in the middle of the road), the loudest thud was on the inside of the rear passenger side wheel, so around the exhaust area. That specific code however, it originates from the EGR, the one you mentioned near the firewall of the engine bay, correct? I think smacking that on a curb would be near impossible but I could be wrong. But if that code could be flagged due to the exhaust crumpling or something similar that would be understandable. Appreciate the help, I did use a DPF cleaner about a month ago, assuming that covers the EGR too.
  2. Just to add, I've just done a 40 mile round trip just to give the DPF a blast and I haven't had an issue today. But I guess getting that first one is a warning of what's to come?
  3. Hello, Audi A3 8P Sportback / 2009 / 2.0 TDi 138/140 BHP / CBAB Engine So after last night when I hit the underside of my car with a curb I thought I began to get an issue due to it, turns out it's because I turned the car off and on multiple times to assess damage and the glow plug symbol started flashing along with limp mode. Gave it a scan and got back P0403 which is the EGR valve, I know it fills with carbon and needs replacing however I cannot find enough resources to tell me which part. Searching for the EGR valve on my CBAB engine brings results for a part in the front of the engine bay, small in size and easily replaced and a longer piece in the back that I know is probably about 7 hours of labour. Does anyone know what is typically replaced when this code occurs? £1,000 of parts and labour is going to bring a tear to my eye for a £3,000 car. Cheers
  4. So I've checked the fuse which is #37 and it's still in-tact, I'm stumped is there anything else I can check at all myself. Just to repeat none of them work and there isn't an illuminated symbol on my infotainment dash.
  5. Hello, new to the forums after just picking up my first car and therefore first Audi! When I was test driving my Facelift sportbacks 8P the dealer was asking if I could feel the heated seats, I was wearing multiple layers so didn't think anything of it. The fact he was asking reassures me he thought it was working, however I've had it for a few days and can confirm it is not. I'm unaware on how to test it, but when the dial is set to 6 which is max no light is present on the display, should this be the case? Due to this do you think it is a fuse that is gone, I'm at work but will try locate them when I'm home. Cheers
