  1. Please let me know how you get on.
  2. No. Your car already has a LTE router, you can see the LTE signal strength in the status bar at the top of the MMI screen. When you buy a data plan it allows you to connect upto 8 devices which can access the internet. Time for you to talk to your dealer!
  3. If you can't configure the MMI to be the LTE router then try a standalone LTE router as shown on page 12 of your UTR manual.
  4. Sorry if you misunderstood. I appears I can't connect my UTR to the vehicle's hot spot as I don't have a data plan and so the LTE service is not operating. Have you checked your MMI for additional settings for your LTE service along with the UTR's settings shown in the manual?
  5. Haven't tried this yet. I'll let you know later. In the meantime if you resolve please let me know.
  6. Link your UTR to the car to use it as a LTE router to upload your clips to the cloud!
  7. I can only access the UTR when the ignition is on and when the phone and the UTR are within WiFi range of each other. My UTR's Wifi isn't active unless the ignition i.s on and so I do not see the UTR name (SSID) in the network list on my phone. I generally take the phone into the car to download the dashcam files so the UTR and phone are within range of each other.
  8. The problem with the loss of radio stations after setting them as favourites only seems to be resolvable at the moment by doing a reset back to factory setting on the MMI console. Did this on both my new vehicles (Q3 and A1) in september and they have been absolutely OK since. Had the same problem with the dash cams on both my vehicles, they wouldn't initially connect to the UTR app on the phone. Take your phone into your car and with the ignition on open the WifI settings on the phone and you should see AUDIUTR_?????? as an availble network. Select this network and enter the default password 123456. You should now be connected. Your dashcams are probable V2 so the app will update itself to V2, then the WiFi network name (SSID) for the UTR on your phone will have changed to AUDIUTR2_?????? Best of luck.
  9. Hi Dan, Alexa is quite easy to set up. From the Home Screen select Users. Then select a user, I selected the key User in my vehicle. Then just follow the instructions on the MMI and your phone to register your vehicle with Alexa. The wifi on my phone connects to the vehicle's wifi hot spot. It connects automatically when the phone is in the car so you may need to set this hotspot up on your phone. Now you should have 'Hey Audi' and 'Alexa' voice commands.
  10. Looks like you’re sorted. Had the same problem on my Q3 so took it back to the dealer. The solution was to restart the MMI system. Press and hold the rotary volume control button for at least 10 seconds.
  11. Picked up my Q3 and the wife’s A1 on 1st September. Both vehicles were losing favourites and displaying the set up menu on starting even though set up was done many times. Thanks to Mick for his advice about the Audi advised solution for resetting the MMI. The procedure has fixed both my vehicles. Be sure to use the vehicle code from your Audi Connect Activation Card when setting the system up again to get all the connect services. Nice one Mick.
