  2. Hi all, I wold very much appreciate advice on this kind of issue please. I have an A6bitdi 2014 model, which i bought from a mate a few months ago. He had fitted new disks and pads on the front and initially the car was fine, braking solidly and without vibration. Just recently, i noticed when accelerating up to high speed, a feeling of vibration but more of a perception. Also, when the car has done a few miles and everything warmed up, when under gentle braking i am getting a bad vibration - my wife can feel it-, she says her seat vibrates. When i brake heavily, the vibration essentially goes away. When i brake within the first few miles of driving, whether gently or severely, the car feels fine. My friend who runs a local garage, had the car on the ramp last week, looked over the disks which is thinks look fie, as do the pads. He checked the brakes over and found nothing obvious. I'm not sure what to do next, but this is baffling me a little. I certainly want to sort it out. Thanks.
  3. Thank you - from what i understand from reading various forums, this might need calibration? Just wondering whether i should get this done at a place that can calibrate it. This part number? 6NW 009 550
  4. Hi all, I was driving yesterday and not at any pace really, but got similar symptoms to above. Glow plug light flashing and car went into limp mode. I took it to a mates garage and got three codes showing: P004700 TURBO BOOST CONTROL A SOLENOID CIRCUIT LOW P334800 ACTIVATION TURBO CONTROL MODULE 1 J724 ELECTRICAL MALNFUNCTION IN CIRCUIT P00AF00 TURBO BOOST CONTROL A MODULE PERFORMANCE (2 OF THESE) My friend reset the codes and we had a quick look for any damaged wires or obvious signs but when i then drove gently up the road at 30mph, the flashing started again within about 300 metres. Not sure where to go with it but really disappointed having come back to a BiTdi after selling an a6 allroad a coupe of years ago. This is a 90k miles saloon 2013 model, s line and came from a good friend who had it for about 6 years.. who i trust implicitly. Any thoughts please
