Sorry, No that’s all. I didn’t know that those issues may be linked. That’s why I’m here. I’m still waiting for my mate to reset the battery. Hopefully today.

A friend at work suggested that, but he only said lock it it over each way and hold for 5 seconds, and that should do it. But I can try what you said tomorrow. Hopefully that’ll work. It’s got a serious power drain at the moment, and I can’t work out what it is. So the battery is always dead after a few days.

No nothing yet. I haven’t had a chance to try it. A friend said he would plug it in when he gets time. Hoping that’ll cure it 🤞🏻

You have to code them to the car? How is that done?

Hopefully a really simple one. The steering wheel light has been on for weeks now. Yet there isn’t a problem with the steering, the fluid level is good, and it shows no fault codes on diagnostic. is this a common easy fix? thank you!

No I don’t think so. I just connected the iso lead. And fed a live wire from the fuse box. how would I be able to identify an earth problem? Could be a good place to start.

Hello 👋🏻 I have an issue that happens at random. There’s a static popping/thud sound from the sub and speakers. Anything can trigger this, such as operating a window or the lights coming on, and even steering the wheel. Sometimes it can be a little crack, and others it’s a big thud from the sub. this has only started when a new stereo was installed. I’ve disconnected any wires that aren’t relevant for operation. A simple yet expensive option is to change the unit, but I want to avoid that and see if anyone has experienced this before, and maybe solved it. thanks!
