  1. It shouldn't need bleeding and also the pedal would be soft if it had air in the system.
  2. Good luck with it...let us know how you get on
  3. Hi Kev....welcome to the Forum! Not entirely sure but were the original lights just standard bulbs? If so, then you will need some sort of resistor pack in-line to run the LED lamps. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-Q7-Adapter-Cables-Set-Control-Unit-Retrofit-LED-Rear-Lights-Genuine-New-/301535417917?hash=item4634e9563d:g:QhsAAOSwNSxU5Yvy Good luck with it and let us know how you get on Regards, Trevor - Admin
  4. Great....have just looked at the piccies...lovely car!
  5. Hi Stephen I think you can reset the pedal auto adjustment but if it's the task I'm thinking of its a bit fiddly and involves burying yourself deep under the dash to reset the pedal. Anyone else know the procedure???
  6. Follow this link for the galleries http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/gallery/ But hey! the photo looks fine on here....nice looking car
  7. Hi Ed...welcome to the Forum! It sounds like you have got quite a good deal there. First thoughts are that it is a genuine car, not smartened up for selling so what you see is what you get! Sound like it just needs a good service to find out what does need replacing over time and what is more imminent. Look forward to reading more posts from you in the future and keep us posted on any progress. Regards Trevor - Admin
  8. Hi Steve, Have just added a Road Trip forum section just for you (and anyone else who has a Road Trip they want to chat about) http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/forum/87-road-trips/ Cheers, Trevor
  9. Anyone gone down, or up the Stelvio Pass this year? Last time I went there on a Motorbike the snow had dropped down over it and blocked it so had to detour and not experience it. Looking to drive it this summer and wondered if actually fully open or any roadwork repairs or anything else going on?
  10. Hi Sven...welcome to the Club! I have found that the fan motors tend to dry up on the bearings and become semi-seized...a bit of lube spray to ease the bearing and it's then fine. Otherwise if its a control issue...try cleaning out the ambient air temperature sensor aperture on the dashboard as these can block up with dust, etc. Regards Trevor - Admin
  11. Hi Danny...welcome to the Forum! Sorry to hear you need a new engine...what happened to it? Here is a link to some, but don't personally know which one is best supplier or deal. http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-results/A4-S4-RS4/Complete-Engines/33615 Best of luck Trevor - Admin
  12. Let us know how you get on Curtis, hopefully it is something cheap to replace

  15. Hi Andy You can post the pic in this Forum page as you can insert media but we are also looking into why the Gallery is not working as well. Thanks for pointing it out to us. UPDATE: The Gallery is now live again
  16. Hi David I'm not too sure but there are a couple of pointers in the following link http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?t=36267
  17. Hi John...welcome to the Forum! How are you getting along with your A3? Good to have you onboard Regards Trevor - Admin
  18. Hi Andy...welcome to the Forum You certainly like your Audi's then! Got any photos of them to post up on here? Regards Trevor - Admin
  19. Hi David...welcome to the Forum! I think the golden rule is to ensure it always has regular maintenance and especially fluid changes to the transmission. Hopefully, you won't suffer all the common ailments with your A4 Regards Trevor - Admin
  20. Hi Marc...welcome to the forum! Wow...you have got some problems! Anyone on here have any info? I would either purchase VAG-COM or similar and have a play around with that or drop it into a specialist who may be able to upload the correct settings into the control modules. Let us know how you get on Regards Trevor - Admin
  21. Hi David....welcome to the Club! Not sure which is the best one to go for but I'm sure someone on here does Anyone?? Regards Trevor - Admin
  22. Hi Nigel I think you've definitely done your research to a good level and I would agree with your conclusion. Not sure what others will think, but you can only go with your decision and always ensure that all servicing has been carried out properly to date and with correct parts/fluids then you I don't think you can go too wrong
  23. I always prefer to drop the oil out of the sump as it allows for sediment, etc that may be laying at the bottom of the sump to naturally flow out with the oil....can't guarantee that sucking the oil out gets past the baffle plates, etc.
  24. Hi James Worth dropping into a garage to have that checked Many years ago, I have a Mercedes in for a rattle from the boot area...could not find it, eventually found it was a broken coil spring. Just a thought! Regards Trevor - Admin
  25. HI Curtis...welcome to the Club! I would imagine it is a drivetrain issue (clutch, transmission, flywheel) which would be worth dropping into a garage to have checked before it gets any worse. Additionally, it could be an engine mount or stabiliser that needs replacing...either way, worth dropping into a garage to check out Let us know how you get on with it Regards Trevor - Admin
