Let us know how you get on and pop up some piccies of it if you can

HI Raj...welcome to the club! I think you're right in your conclusions regarding the service option as if you are limited to 15000 per annum and it's motorway miles only it would probably benefit to just take it in when needed. But then it is peace of mind I suppose! Let us know how you get on with this decision Regards, Trevor - Admin

Hi Waqar...welcome to the club! DAB is quite an easy retrofit on the car as well as the centre armrest but not sure the Xenons will be that easy as will need to be wire up and programmed in. Anyone on here done any of the mods yet? Keep us posted with any updates Regards Trevor - Admin

Hi Jarek...welcome to the club! Welcome back to the world of Audi. I take it the Honda didn't excite you too much then? Just bought one myself and love it but couldn't have seen myself driving it 5 years ago (it's an age thing!). Look forward to reading your posts Regards, Trevor - Admin

Hi James....welcome to the club! Hopefully there will be some members in your area willing to meet up. Hope you get some replies. Regards, Trevor - Admin

Lol...I haven't laughed that much in ages! What a great review of the Audi...I'm sure many people will now rush out to buy one based on the 'benefits' of ownership. I have been from Stelvio Pass to Lake Garda and it was a beautiful journey but didn't actually plan that the majority of Garda is 30mph and it's huge! Took forever to get round it. I think also, the Cote d'Azure could be the winner, especially this year with the crap weather.

Sounds like a good car .... well maintained, motorways miles (always better than round-town miles, I believe), lots of new parts. Go for it !!!!

Hi R1CSO.....welcome to the Forum! Sounds like a mini adventure...love a good road trip. Look forward to seeing the pictures. Good luck with the new Audi, hope you enjoy it Regards Trevor - Admin

HI Steve, Thanks for looking at the review...if you would like to send me a few words on your view of the Bentley and indeed the Audi and Aston if you want to my direct email: info@drivn.co.uk and then no vehicle details are needed apart from the model, type, etc. Thanks. I know what you mean about paying out over the odds. I'm off to Le Mans Classic next week but the crossing from Poole (where I actually live) is huge money so cheaper to go from Dover to Dunkirk and its even works out cheaper to drive all the way to Dover, across France and back, stay in hotel down there and back and even with fuel costs....its still cheaper than the crossing! They just hike the prices up for various times of the year/events :-(

That's the good thing about Audi...you can carry out a huge range of mods and they all seem to really enhance the car
-
Hi Richard...welcome to the forum! Sounds like a long shot, but is the oil grade correct? If not, at low revs the pressure may not build up enough. Regards, Trevor - Admin
-
Hi Vince...sorry to hear your having problems with your Audi already! Found this info...may possibly work but you obviously need a spare key and also need to get inside the car to access the ignition. 1. putting spare key in the ignition turning one notch2. closing door and locking vehicle via door handle key hole with main key3. unlocking vehicle via door key hole and removing key from ignition

Hi Andy...welcome to the club! Q7 is a fantastic car...but I agree with you about reading the manual. If you need any info I'm sure there is someone on here that knows the answer Regards, Trevor - Admin

Audi 80 2.0 ABT Engine 1992/1993 Distributor Cap Question
Audi Owners Club. replied to johnnyg64's topic in Classic Audi Club
Hi John...welcome to the Forum! Did you remove the distributor or just the rotor arm and distributor cap? Definitely sounds like it is times wrong...may be worth comparing it to your old cap to see that the leads are in the correct order. Let us know how you get on Regards, Trevor - Admin -
I would then recommend taking it straight to a specialist or dealer to have a scan carried out to determine what the actual fault is

lol...great story, that's sods law the way things work out sometimes. A friend of mine has an Aston Vantage convertible but as there are three in his family, he hasn't used the two seater Aston as much as he's intended. I suggested to him to buy a Bentley GTC which I think would be a great compromise and he'd probably use it more (especially in the winter). Could I ask to write a review of the Bentley on www.drivn.co.uk as I would like to be able to recommend one to him...unless there are loads of faults, issues, etc. Let me know how it all pans out for a Euro trip. Regards, Trevor
-
Wow! that's an expensive crossing! Great choice in convertibles...have you considered Germany and Austria? Some great roads over there, fantastic scenery and then go over the Stelvio Pass into Italy. Done this trip a few times and still think its the best!

Hi Jason....did you purchase the car...and if so, are you pleased with it?
