  1. Hi John....welcome to the Forum Not new to VAG so you'll find the Audi quite familiar territory then. If you were closer I would entertain the Clio Sport...cool little car but not sure about the Altea but I'm sure someone would be grateful for it. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  2. Very useful site, thanks Phil
  3. Hi Alison....welcome to the Club
  4. Hi Michael.....welcome to the Forums I can be like that....completely fickle when it comes to cars, see something and then get distracted by something else 🙂 Look forward to seeing some photos of the new motor Cheers, Trevor
  5. Wow.....keep us updated on how it all works out

  8. Hi Benjamin.....welcome to the Forum Yes, your car is an 8P model Good to know you spent the time rebuilding the engine, some cars are worth it Keep us updated on the mods you carry out in the future. Cheers, Trevor
  9. Hi....welcome to the Forum I think you'll know you have picked the right spec of A7 when you look through enough listings, however, I would look for one with a good (and extended) warranty as there could be a lot of issues potentially as it has a lot that can go wrong. Top end cars tend to require top end wallets to keep maintained correctly and running reliably for years to come. Let us know how you get on with your purchase Cheers, Trevor
  10. Hi Daniel....welcome to the Forum Sounds like you've tried a few other makes before returning to Audi....stick with the best as they say! I personally believe that if the car has been looked after and maintained correctly then it should be relatively trouble free. Look through the service history to check for regular oil changes and then this should alleviate any concerns on engine wear issues....especially if it has done a decent mileage now. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers, Trevor
  11. Hi....welcome to the Forum Superb looking A6...you'll have your work cut out keeping it clean Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor

  14. Hi Thomas....welcome to the Forum The e-tron certainly is the way forward especially as Audi has been trialling this technology for many years at Le Mans Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor

  16. Hi Debbie....welcome to the Forum Yes, this is the right place for this post. I suppose the best way to buy breakdown cover is to first weigh up what you need...e.g. multicar, european cover, personal cover, homestart, etc. If you don't need any other options than roadside cover and being towed to a garage within 10 miles of where you broke down then that would be the cheapest method. After that, you can bolt on various options and then it becomes quite expensive. You get what you pay for, as the old saying goes!
  17. So what mods have you carried out to obtain 429 bhp?
  18. Hi Paul think you made the right choice regarding colour, it looks the business 🙂
  19. Sorry, can't help with a trans specialist in Scotland but can you elaborate on the faults as someone might have been there before with the same issue and has the answers.
