  1. I just laugh at the amount of smoke/soot that comes out the exhausts from the 'modern' diesels when they accelerate from a slip road....where is the pollution control there? If the car is being driven correctly and for the correct journeys at the right revs to labour the engine to keep it clean and therefore no problems....but unfortunately this is not usually the case.
  2. Hi Simon.....welcome to the Forum shame the photo hasn't come out, maybe try uploading it again? (UPDATE: just seen the photo in the Gallery thread) Good to have you onboard and look forward to seeing the Dyno readouts Cheers, Trevor
  3. I can post up the photos if you want to PM them to me

  10. Hi Keith....welcome to the Forum I suppose you have two choices, if it is running okay then stick to the Weber carb (they were a great conversion at the time) or put it back to what I seem to remember was the Pierburg fitted as standard...which wasn't a good carb...too many vacuum connections to get it through emissions, autochoke, etc. Let us know how it all progresses....will bring back memories of carburettor woes :-) Cheers, Trevor
  11. Hi Connor...welcome to the Forum I would take the car into a garage to have any fault codes (that are stored in the ECU memory) read out which would accurately locate where the problem exists. Let us know how you get on with it. Cheers, Trevor
  12. I would take the car to Pro-Drive or similar for a four-wheel alignment as a slight adjustment here and there in the steering/suspension will sort that out.
  13. Great to see Audi still involved in motorsport, such a shame they dropped out of the World Endurance Championships but they reigned supreme in the series winning 13 out of 16 Le Mans 24 Hours victories. I'm sure they will do equally as well with the new car in FormulaE

  21. was thinking of getting one but am finding google voice commands quite handy at the mo.....maybe wait for a black friday deal
  22. Hi Bradley....welcome to the Forum I would imagine that if there were broken wires that possibly they could have touched and short-circuited something else in the system. It would be worth going through all of the fuses and circuit breakers to check if anything is blown. Let us know how you get on with it. Cheers, Trevor
