  1. Hi Greg....welcome to the Forum I personally would go for the S3 for the reasons that Steve Q has mentioned but also it should be more up to a hammering on a regular basis (if required, of course) Good to have you onboard Cheers Trevor
  2. Hi Dean...welcome to the Forum Great looking Audi you have there! Keep us updated with the mods Cheers, Trevor
  3. Hi Jason....welcome to the Forum Would love to see some piccies of your car if you would like to post some up? Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  4. Hi Geoff....welcome to the Forum Another Dorset member....good to have you onboard Make sure you check out the Regional Meetings as we run some local meet-ups in the South. Cheers, Trevor
  5. Hi Ben....welcome to the Forum No problems posting on here at all and as long as no blatant commercial advertising is taking place then it is good to have a VW Audi specialist on here to give input on technical topics. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  6. Bring it on!
  7. Hi Adam...welcome to the Forum Superb Audi....not sure it has enough power though, lol See you at the show Cheers, Trevor
  8. Hi Colin...welcome to the Forum It's a difficult one....Warranties are okay as long as it is defined as a failure and not relating to wear and tear...so electronics are mostly covered but virtually anything else can wear with use over time....read the exclusions before signing up is my only advice. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  9. Hi Phil...welcome to the Forum Great looking car you have there...totally got the right look and stance. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  10. The A6 is ahead in this poll and the RS6 is ahead in the other poll....definitely a pattern here!
  11. Sounds like the phone setting....set up as headphones or similar...should be a setting somewhere to change that
  12. Hi Garry...welcome to the Forum Great looking car, it's got all the right bits to make up a first class machine...TDi engine, AWD, load space.... Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  13. Gutted!!! not allowed to watch the type of films I enjoy in the company of my ladyfriend, as she hates violence....so I have to wait until she is out for an evening to catch up on superhero, war or gangster films.... However, chick flicks are the order of the day, lol
  14. Hi Krishna....welcome to the Forum It is more than likely a characteristic of the Audi as the Porsche and Jaguar don't follow the same pattern....either that or they dial out the pulling with better chassis set up. I would take it to a reputable garage that can adjust the steering and suspension to counteract the pulling which may also be down to the AWD set up. I sorted my Honda CR-V which was doing the same by adjusting the rear wheel geometry and it improved it instantly. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers, Trevor
  15. Hi Wesley I would definitely fill it up before you set off....if the low level warning light comes on and it is ignored over a period of time then the engine will shut down and will require dealer reprogramming to reset it, so definitely don't run it low! Have a good trip, Cheers Trevor
  16. Hi Gareth You can place an advert (free of charge) in the For Sale section of this Forum http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/forum/42-audi-cars-for-sale-and-wanted/ Great car by the way, how much are you asking for it? Cheers, Trevor
  17. Hi Donik...welcome to the Forum Sounds like you want to sort it from top to bottom, only real way to truly know your car is by properly detailing it in my opinion. If you want to remove the seats then you will need to remove the battery negative terminal and leave it disconnected for at least 30 minutes before attempting to unplug any electrical connections. If you have disconnected the battery then chances are you will lose a lot of the settings unless you use a memory saver which will keep the electronic memory but not enough to power systems. Good luck and post up some photos when it is stripped back as it would be interesting to see how far you get into it Cheers, Trevor
  18. it's certainly a slow road but interesting route through Salisbury area but great twisty roads
  19. Okay thanks...may pop out there later or try another local one to see if I can blag one.....cheers
