  5. Hi Martin....welcome to the Forum My first thoughts are....which terminal did your mechanic remove first, only if it was the positive terminal then this can create a spike through the electronics. You should only remove the negative terminal first to isolate the electrical supply and not introduce any power surges through the system. Additionally, if the electrics were troublesome before disconnection of the battery, then this could likely be an earthing problem which would account for the spike also. Check the battery connections and earth leads first to see if there is any corrosion or poor connections before fitting any new electronic units. Let us know what you find Cheers, Trevor
  6. Janis Bagatais Here is where you can buy tickets for track events, etc. Entrance for just the club stand with no track extras is £10. Then it is a case of driving to our club pitch (wherever that is?) This is the information that you will need to log in to buy tickets to be on the club stand
  7. Karl220282 How did it go with the cover and the clips?
  8. Hi John From memory, it will be the idle speed control valve (ISCV) that will need cleaning out (with carb cleaner) and also ensure that any vacuum hoses are intact and no leaks present.
  9. Great article you have put together Steve....I didn't know the tie-up between Senna and Audi and it's an aweful shame he was killed as I'm sure this would have been even more of a success and he would have been an awesome ambassador for the brand.
  10. Here's a few Audi's I spotted in Kefalonia but didn't spot many new ones around
  11. The key fob will need to be on the end of the key for the immobiliser chip to be read by the aerial / immobiliser ring mounted on the ignition barrel, if not it won't be able to read the chip
  12. HI Edd....welcome to the Forum The nearest show to you will be the Audi International Driver show at Castle Coombe in September.... Put your name down if you want to join us on the club stand. Hopefully see you there Cheers, Trevor
  13. No, neither was I until I thought of it, lol
  14. Hi David Usually, updating a licence only gives you Traffic support with the occasional Map update that I'm aware of. Possibly also, breakdown assistance and crash incident support. Definitely worth checking with them what you are actually paying a subscription for Cheers, Trevor
  15. Hi Lennox....welcome to the Forum Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  16. Hi Billy....welcome to the Forum Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor

  18. cool choice Steve, the poll was more for the 'balls-out' RS and homologated Audi's to start with and then was going to do a ...A3, A4, A5.... poll later :-)
  19. I'm guessing something to do with 007?
  20. Personally, I think the A6 is much more car for your money, although..... Tough call !
  21. I can only find this frame for the cover, but assume it must have the clips there for the cover to clip into? http://www.ebay.ie/itm/NEW-GENUINE-AUDI-Q7-REAR-BUMPER-TOWBAR-COVER-FRAME-TRIM-4L0-807-941-/281461290766
  22. Welcome to the Forum Paul
  23. Hi Paul I'm guessing if it has been standing at a Dealership for some time then possibly it is something that just needs to bed in after collecting some surface corrosion (e.g. rusty discs, dry belt, etc). See if the noise disappears after a week or so and if not, then we'll go to plan B (whatever that is, will work it out later on) Cheers, Trevor
  24. Hi Ian....welcome to the Forum I'm guessing you would spot this sort of thing a mile off and it would anger the hell out of me if I thought someone was upgrading their car with better condition parts robbed from your car. However, deep breath here...are you sure it was there that the switch could have been made or could it have occurred anywhere else? I would imagine the best bet would be to remove your wheels and check it over to see what casting marks are there and then prepare to do battle if necessary. Keep us updated with progress on this situation. Cheers, Trevor
