  1. Hi Mike...welcome to the Forum What are the actual symptoms with the car?

  9. Hi Mick....welcome to the Forum
  10. Thanks for the comprehensive information Steve...it seems like the French love their regulations but in reality, it will hit all major European cities in the near future and not a bad thing as well.
  11. OMG ! is nothing sacred anymore...what are they going to copy next? .... answers on a postcard please
  12. They are certainly instantly recognisable Dan3222 but shame about the rust...not many left now Great fun to drive with the VVC engine, close ratio box and a Torsen diff as standard :-)
  13. Glad it's all sorted especially under warranty...even better!
  14. Great cars listed so far chaps...and can almost feel the memories being rekindled fondly. I think the only car I really regret getting rid off (to the 2nd ex-wife as divorce settlement) was my 1999 Rover 200 LE 'BRM' ... limited edition number 286 of 795.....really miss her! (the car not the wife!). Always used to be dirt cheap to buy, now can't find one for less than £2k
  15. It sounds like the switch is holding down the relay, which in turn may have blown the central locking fuse...which is probably where I would start and also to replace the roof switch also.
  16. Hi Gavin....welcome to the Forum Good to have you onboard Cheers Trevor
  17. Hi...welcome to the Forum Feel free to ask any questions once you pick it up and we'll do our best to answer them Cheers, Trevor
  18. Hi Mark....welcome to the Forum Great choice of Audi's :-) Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  19. My neighbour has a swanneck towbar fitted to his A7 and had it removed from his old A7 to fit to his new one, so I suppose it's an outlay but if you replace the car in a few years then at least you can remove the whole assembly and refit to a new one or sell it to get some of your money back.
  20. I would be putting my money on the Fuel Pump intermittently failing....worth checking electrical connections to it first
  21. Hi Jamie...welcome to the Forum Plenty of info on here, keep us updated on your progress with buying an RS Cheers, Trevor
  22. Hi Mark....welcome to the Forum Post up some piccies of your A7 when you get it. Good to have you onboard Cheers Trevor
  23. Hi Andrew....welcome to the Forum It could be a dual mass flywheel fault as I have known them to do that before, although they are usually accompanied by a very loud rattling if they get to that stage. Keep us updated if it happens again Cheers Trevor
  24. Ashpack Here is a link to a company that we have dealt with before through other clubs and they should be able to help you http://www.thefuelcapcompany.co.uk/
  25. a decent battery should only cost around £70 - £80 (Varta, Exide, etc)
