  1. It should just unbolt from the gearbox side and pull out of the hub at the other end
  2. Hi Jack....welcome to the Forum Is the fluid level low or is the fluid cavitating (frothing) if so, then air is being introduced into the system. 700rpm is about right but you could see if you can raise it slightly
  3. I've always found Goodyear to be quite soft compound, but awesome in all conditions. I don't think 12k miles is too bad, considering I only get around 4k miles from my Goodyears on my motorbike
  4. Haven't come across Uniroyal in years...didn't know they still made them
  5. There are some sensors here http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-search-results/A3-S3/Vehicle_Parts_and_Accessories/131090/reverse As long as you can get your hand up behind the bumper then they are easy to replace
  6. sorry, not sure about the measuring block...I normally use a Snap-On scanner and look at live data for what's occurring when the fault happens to see what is going on.
  7. I think the metal polish like Solvol Autosol may be a bit abrasive....could try something like Brasso, less abrasive but just as effective
  8. Hi Steve...welcome to the Forum I would have thought it was the stalk but if you do swap it over I have a funny feeling you may need to code it in....worth checking the forum for past posts that mention this Cheers Trevor
  9. There are some listed here http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-results/A4-S4-RS4/Headlight-Assemblies/44240
  10. Hi Gareth I would say the Oil Pressure Switch would have to be on one side or other of the engine block, about half way up (usual position for most switches on the main oil gallery). Don't know whether the car has electric power steering (EPAS), in which case it won't have a PAS reservoir fitted. Some EPAS columns/racks did have a small reservoir on the very bottom of the column (electro-hydraulic) Let us know what you find Cheers Trevor
  11. Yes, fuel pressure can be checked (see if it can be measured when driving)
  12. Hi Chris....welcome to the Forum I would definitely go for an aftermarket unit as the available functions in them are way better than the standard fit unit...although not sure the sound quality would be as good. Give these guys a try http://www.iceboxauto.com/audi Cheers Trevor
  13. Great styling and sharp lines...
  14. Hi Ian...welcome to the Forum I have to say I love the shape and the colour...classic styling, timeless are two words that come to mind Cheers Trevor
  15. I would wait to see whether the performance (post emissions update) is as it should be when you collect the car and then look at remaps as an option to improve the driveability
  16. How on earth did they get in...was it unlocked when you went back to it?
  17. maybe worth trying a few more until you find one that will supply the code for free
  18. 19. Hi Gemma...welcome to the Forum I would phone another dealership to see if they can issue you a code as I know with Volkswagen (same group of companies) they hand out codes for free. Let us know how you get on with this Cheers Trevor
  20. If they are not underneath the seats (either side if it is a saddle tank) then it may well be on the side under the wheel arch area?
  21. Sorry not sure personally but apart from asking a dealer, you could try overinflating one of the tyres to see what sort of message is displayed and then deflate back to the specified pressure
  22. I can't see any reference to Lane Assist on the UK Audi website....not sure when it is likely to appear in this market As for the Audi Parking System Plus I cannot see anything about 360 degree camera
  23. Sounds very odd...never heard of this before. Can only imagine that someone has taken the injectors out beforehand and overtightened the bolts. I would replace the existing ones that haven't yet snapped with genuine Audi bolts just in case Let us know how this progresses
  24. Hi Stuart...welcome to the Forum Mostly, the Q7 is a very reliable machine...occasionally the air suspension plays up over time (leaks) and auto trans can give problems but otherwise, if it's serviced properly you shouldn't have too many problems. Worth doing a search through the Q7 forum section to get an idea of various issues. Cheers Trevor
  25. Just seen this advert for an R8...possibly the one I want in my garage http://www.audiownersclub.com/motors-vehicle-details/44110116/
