  1. anyone else got anything planned for their Audi this year?
  2. Free Audi Owners Club Stickers...that's what I like See post in Lounge area of the Forum
  3. Rain! I've completely hacked off with this persistent rain, apparently we're in for at least two weeks of it
  4. Hi Richard...welcome to the Forum I am unfortunately not going to be of much help with some of your questions. For example, the colour, options, etc are down to personal choice and if pushed would say the Navarra Blue is the nicest colour. Towbar and other options are cheaper through aftermarket suppliers and plenty available out there....for side steps try 4x4 direct https://www.direct4x4.co.uk/q5#/pageSize=12&orderBy=0 Keep us updated on how it all goes Cheers Trevor
  5. Technical Section http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/forum/89-audi-technical/ How to Guides http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/tutorials/ Both sections are work in progress and constantly populating so watch this space as they say
  6. Hi Vernon...welcome to the Forum Great advice from Juggati and pretty much sums it up. Keep us updated on you purchase Cheers Trevor
  7. Hi Hardeep...welcome to the Forum There is some information on how to reset the service lamp in the Technical Section within this Forum If that doesn't work then maybe using a diagnostic tool to reset it may be your only other option. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor
  8. Hi Tom....welcome to the Forum I can only imagine that if they are all the original keys, then the ones that don't work may need batteries. If they have been sat around for a long time and the only one that works is the one that was with the car when it is serviced means it got a new battery but the others didn't Try replacing the batteries and then follow the instructions in the Technical Section for reprogramming key fobs Cheers Trevor
  9. great result all round !
  10. I agree with Riccardo...it is just a cruising gear, not an accelerating gear as such
  11. There shouldn't be any issues replacing the standard bulbs for enhanced ones Here is a link to some http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-results/A3-S3/Bulbs--LEDs/174060
  12. There are several versions of the DPF regeneration process but it is best to follow the genuine manufacturers instructions. Some manufacturers insist that the fuel tank is full and that the revs are constantly maintained over say 3000 rpm for in excess of 10 minutes (so that means un-interupted motorway driving, etc If not, then a forced regen would be you only other option. Keep us updated on your progress Cheers Trevor
  13. Have moved this topic to Parts for Sale/Wanted and left a link here to see if it gives greater exposure
  14. Could you try unplugging the new sensor to see if the display comes back on? Maybe wrong resistance or similar causing the display to shut down
  15. I completely agree with Gareth's statement and think you're best bet is an independent garage if you don't feel like tackling the job yourself. Always worth investing in quality parts as there is a huge difference in braking performance, especially from the pads. Keep us updated on your progress Cheers Trevor
  16. You used to be able to buy a small bottle of electrical conductive paint (not sure if Halfords stock it) and you could easily repair the tracks rather than replace the whole screen
  17. Hi Gary.....welcome to the Forum There are some links in the Technical section and Guide sections of this forum that may give you some help in this area. Cheers Trevor
  18. It does sound like a case of the latter....physically checking it's plugged in I would say. Can't think how it could go faulty as it's only an aerial, unless it has some base loaded circuitry Keep us updated Cheers Trevor
  19. Hi Matt....welcome to the Forum There are several factors affecting mpg....weight inside the car (e.g. stuff in the boot), tyre pressures, full tank of fuel (equivalent to the weight of another passenger), quality of engine oil, and so much more. However, as rbdazza has stated, a remap would certainly improve the economy...worth looking into. Cheers Trevor
  20. I wired the dash cam kit into my Honda CRV so completely different but fuse wise, I would possibly go into the folding mirrors or something that is ignition switched. Open the passenger door and look at the end of the dashboard there should be a panel there with the fusebox inside
  21. Hi Kapil....welcome to the Forum You could also consider a tuning box - fitted one to my car last month and love it Keep us updated on how you get on with finding someone to tune your Audi. Cheers Trevor
  22. It's strange how it's reading the data when you zoom in but blank when back to original view....wondering if it's not caching the memory due to some restrictions in the settings? Here's some info on Q7 sat nav...not sure if there is anything useful in it
  23. Hi Magnum...welcome to the Forum It should be a case of servicing the car at 10k mile intervals so the next service should be at a maximum of 17k miles or 1 year Hope that helps? Cheers Trevor
  24. Sounds very good overall, would have thought the B&O would have been superb but maybe its the interior trim resonating which you could apply insulation pads to reduce this.
  25. Hi Neil...welcome to the Forum It sounds reasonable that there is more AdBlue being injected into the after-treatment emissions system on your new one whereas the older Q5 it was more of a token amount being used to treat the emissions. Just make sure you never run out of AdBlue though...bit of an expensive problem to pay out for Cheers Trevor
