  1. Hi Dean...welcome to the Forum Here is a link to a few on offer on eBay...not sure about the quality though http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-results/A4-S4-RS4/Carpets--Floor-Mats/36678 Cheers Trevor
  2. Hi Daz...welcome to the Forum It sounds like a power distribution fault. I would be tempted to close the roof fully and then disconnect the battery and when reconnecting, ensure that you code the remote plip to the car to reset the alarm system. See if that cures the electrical system gremlins...let us know what you find. Cheers Trevor
  3. HI Marc....welcome to the Forum It may be worth spending on a fluid and filter change to see if that improves things, if not...then at least it wouldn't have been too much spent on a duff gearbox. Let us know how you progress with this issue Cheers Trevor
  4. You could look at what this company has to offer http://www.iceboxauto.com/audi
  5. Thanks for the update...great to know its a cheap fix as well
  6. Sorry Marc...didn't read your post properly first time. Not sure about relocating the AC panel but maybe someone has done this mod before?
  7. Unfortunately, I don't have an A8/S8 (yet!) . Will try to arrange some meetings in 2017....watch this space
  8. That's good news...keep an eye on it to see if it has a pattern to when/if it goes out again
  9. Hi Marc....welcome to the Forum Have a look at what these guys offer in the way of replacements http://www.iceboxauto.com/audi Keep us updated on how you get on with it Cheers Trevor
  10. Hi Robert...welcome to the Forum I have the same problem on a Golf (same mechanics) and I beleive that the fault is down to the linkage seizing. Worth checking the fuse first to see if it has blown....especially if there is ice on the screen and the blades stick, tends to either break the linkage or blow the fuse. Let us know what you find Cheers Trevor
  11. Great news! Good to know that the Silica did the trick :-)
  12. Hi John...welcome to the Forum It's annoying to find small faults but at least they are only small faults and hopefully not too expensive to resolve. Good to have you onboard. Cheers Trevor
  13. Hi Graham...welcome to the Forum I've moved the topic to the A3 forum but left the link here as well. Strange fault with the indicators...could be a CanBus issue? Hopefully someone else has experienced this before and can shed some light on the solution. Cheers Trevor
  14. Hi Simon....welcome to the Forum Normally Bose produce really good sound .... maybe its an acoustics thing with the interior of the A7? good to have you onboard! Cheers Trevor
  15. Hi Mel...welcome to the Forum I totally understand the need for toys at the age of 53...I'm at that age and still justify the need to play with cars and bikes until....well maybe forever! Keep us updated on your potential purchase Cheers Trevor
  16. Useful article on electronic engine tuning http://www.audiownersclub.com/news/reviews/club-reviews/product-reviews/electronic-engine-tuning-guide/
  17. Hi Lee...welcome to the Forum She's a beauty! Can't think that there's much better any 'V' engine roar...enjoy Cheers Trevor
  18. Hi Simon Not the expert on these audio systems but can you alter the sound output on the iPod (e.g. speakers, surround, bass, club, opera, etc). May alter the output slightly to improve the bass. Let us know what you find as useful for other members who may be experiencing this issue. Cheers Trevor
  19. Hi Morgan...welcome to the Forum Not entirely sure what the differences are between the years but needless to say they pretty much all come fully loaded...great car! Keep us updated on your purchase Cheers Trevor
  20. Sorry no one answered your post but its probably just a case of no one encountering the same problem. Did you sort it in the end?
  21. Hi Robin...welcome to the Forum Hope you're enjoying the Audi even with the faults, and hopefully you will get some responses in the A6 section. Regards Trevor
  22. Sorry, just read your post again....I assumed the revs just went high before pulling away but if you mean that you have to raise the revs to pull away then quite possibly the transmission fluid level could be low. If this is the case, then where is the leak, but it could always benefit from a fluid and filter change to improve things.
  23. This link may be of help...
  24. Hi Mike...welcome to the Forum First thoughts would be the fuse, if not then check the condition of the vehicle battery and if necessary do a reboot by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. Anyone got any thoughts on this one ???? Cheers Trevor
  25. I agree with Darth_stinky (great name by the way!)...if you can access it to clean it then it would be far cheaper than replacement and give you the immense satisfaction that you've saved yourself bucket loads of money and got it working again. I would however, clean the toothbrush thoroughly before putting it back into daily service again :-) Keep us updated on the progress Cheers Trevor
