Hi Russ....welcome to the Forum My first thoughts are the Crankshaft Position Sensor which may not give a fault code but it would give the symptoms you are describing. They normally fail when the temperature around the sensor increases (e.g. engine warm) and then as it cools down, the engine will restart with no issues until it gets hot again. Additionally, it is worth looking at the ignition coil(s) and checking if the wiring / connectors are in good condition. Finally, the ignition switch itself, if this fails then it could give the same symptoms. The smell would be excessive unburnt fuel in the Cat following the restart. Hi Nigel...welcome to the Forum I would recommend TFR (Traffic Film Remover) but specifically the trade (undiluted) one available from valeting trade suppliers. Apply it neat (wearing goggles to avoid getting in your eyes...ouch!) and leaving it on for a very short time before washing off. Don't leave it on for too long as it will bleach the paint and avoid getting it on the external paintwork. Then work your way down to a more diluted mix to remove any other light staining. Hi Andy....welcome to the Forum It sounds like the engine management system needs programming in (throttle potentiometer, idle control, etc) as it almost sounds like a default setting like when you disconnect the battery and it has to relearn...only an idea but worth running a scan on it to see if there are any fault codes in the ECU memory. Hi Lewis....welcome to the Forum 1. yes, a remap should boost the power output and also consider a tuning box .... look at http://www.diesel-performance.co.uk/audi-diesel-tuning Fitted one on my Honda CRV last week...have to say what a huge difference it has made to how the car drives...more power, torque and a lot more flexible in the gears...also better MPG. 2. Unusual for LEDs to go, more than likely micro bulbs in there, but should be replaceable. 3. Best ask DTUK this question Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor

Hi Steve...welcome to the Forum You could try Terraclean who will come over to your home or work and run a treatment through the engine to thoroughly clean out the EGR and other components. I would try that first as going to be a lot cheaper and also benefits other areas of the engine that may be clogged up with carbon. Cheers Trevor

Hi Adrian Its also worth considering that with the mad weather we've had lately that due to the insulated interior and the cold ambient temperatures and then the sun decides to make an appearance...all lead to causing condensation (warm inside, cold outside) and its quite common on all cars this time of year. I did see a condensation trap for cars in Halfords at a reduced price of £10 and wondered if its any good. I imagine its a box full of Silica beads but if it works? Cheers Trevor

Hi Roo...welcome to the Forum I can't personally comment on the exhaust system because I have never fitted one on any of my cars. But I do know that they can be noisier because of thinner gauge metal used. The rear wiper may just be a fuse...especially if the blade was stuck to the glass with the recent frost and ice....worth checking first. Cheers Trevor -

Hi...welcome to the Forum More than likely something associated with the bushes, if the new noise occurs when the previous noise occurred (under acceleration or deceleration) then there may still be some compliance still there, but dampened by the new bushes. Hi Michelle....welcome to the Forum Bad news about the stereo theft...thought that was a thing of the past as most systems are security coded to the vehicle. I think for that reason, you would need to code the replacement one into the vehicle. Hi Michael...welcome to the Forum I would have thought that the door lock is a security issue and therefore would be covered as it not like it's an accessory or piece of trim. The fuel flap should also be covered but not so much of an emphasis as the door lock I would imagine. I would press them to ensure it comes under warranty, especially if it doesn't state it's not covered. Wear and tear would be excluded but can't see that those faults would be listed as wear and tear. Let us know how you get on with it all Cheers Trevor -

Cheers for the info Dave That certainly is worth the repair to save huge bundles of cash. It's quite rare nowadays for dealers to sell components within suspension/steering parts but good to know Audi are still providing them.

@Conner a loud rattling noise in the auto trans could be a broken up torque converter or another internal transmission fault. Worth checking all driveshaft joints for wear before condemning the transmission though.
