Hi Andy...welcome to the Forum Had this problem on a Merc Cabriolet many years ago (problem associated with not manually unlocking the boot and just using the remote fob)....had to get into the boot through the back seat and release it manually from inside. Not sure if you could use a similar method on the Audi? Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor

I would assume that mudflaps were on there previously and the screws removed. I would try some PK screws (self tappers) first and see if they bite in nicely...you don't want them falling out into the tyre.

Hi Mike...welcome to the Forum The first place I would look for any sort of imbalance is the tyre shape. If you jack up each wheel and turn slowly observing the shape of the tyre to see if it is out-of-round or bulge through damage to the carcass. Been caught out by this sort of fault before...definitely worth checking before shelling out huge money. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor

Hi Nigel...welcome to the Forum I believe the Q3 will do the job nicely, the Q5 may be bigger but do you really need that size vehicle all year round? The diesel would be the ultimate for torque when pulling a caravan and also may be heavier which will help with the towing weights. Let us know what you decide. Cheers Trevor

I would consider running normal tyres and ensure you have an emergency kit to inflate if punctured. Alternatively, you could try running Slime in the tyres, prevents punctures in the first place.

Hi Anthony...welcome to the Forum The most important things to check on any used Audi is the service history and whether routine maintenance items (belts, etc) have been replaced with quality parts. Otherwise, a detailed checkover of the car by a mechanic is alway advisable before throwing hard-earned money at one. Let us know how you get on with purchasing one, Cheers Trevor

Not sure why its not showing reading but the readings that are there for the generator are fine and show a healthy state of charge. Anyone else have any ideas?

Hi Dave...welcome to the Forum Common fault with coolant temperature sensors & connector/wiring to it but if it's not blowing hot I would recommend back flushing the cooling system to ensure it is clear. Also worth checking the diverter valve to see that hot coolant can flow....check with temperature gun is easiest. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor

I think you'll find they have different PCD (distance from each stud within the hub)....worth trying one up on the car to see that you have the right clearances, etc

Hi Ryan...welcome to the Forum Not sure why they don't work...if you have continuity on the meter then they should work...think I would be tempted to put the directly across a battery to check they actually illuminate though. Otherwise, I think I would be questioning the quality of the bulbs you have just bought. Good luck and let us know how you get on with it. Cheers Trevor

I would say that is again coding in the Can Bus system that senses a low resistance in the indicators (going from bulbs to LED) ... if the external flashers don't flash erratically then maybe not so much an issue as the external lights are the ones they check on the MOT test although the warning lamp should be illuminating I'm not sure that it has to comply with the 60-120 flashes per minute ruling.

Hi Brian....welcome to the Forum That's a problem I have encountered with Audi before...the difference is in the PCD (distance between the stud spacing so won't physically fit...maybe he had them on an A3 or smaller Audi? Hope you get some nice wheels shortly and would love to see a piccy of them when you do. Cheers Trevor
