Looks nice and sunny out there Steve....hope you're having a lovely time and that the beer is cold enough?

My ladyfriends' Alfa Romeo creaks more than my old joints in the winter and I have found that spraying the rubber components with Silicon spray every so often keeps the creaking at bay.

It sounds like it should come through the inside of the boot once the earth strap is disconnected

Hi Scott...welcome to the Forum Good to have you onboard and feel free to ask any questions in the A6 (C6) section. Cheers, Trevor

Hi Paul...welcome to the Forum Probably best to post these questions separately in the A6 section to get more responses Cheers, Trevor

Hi Rob....welcome to the Forum As Steve has stated, it is probably worth contacting the dealers that serviced the car to ask them if fluids have been replaced or when they should and even how much? Some manual transmissions are sealed for life but mostly auto trans need the fluid and filter replacing periodically Let us know how you get on Cheers Trevor

TPMS ESP Auto/Start Stop Handbrake issues on my Audi A7
Trevor replied to kal's topic in Audi A7 Club
Sorry, no idea then....hopefully someone will pop up on here shortly with the answer ??? -
Hi Dom....welcome to the Forum I would entrust it to an Audi specialist as a whole heap of problems if any linkage is out of alignment or electronic control is corrupted. Obvious things to check first would be is there any impingement during the opening/closing (e.g anything stored in the boot causing it to malfunction), seized linkage that just needs spraying with WD40, etc. Keep us updated with what you find Cheers, Trevor

Hi David....welcome to the Forum Here are a selection of parcel shelves but not many unfortunately http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-results/A3-S3-RS3/Parcel-Shelves/174084

As niedzial1983 has stated, using VCDS would be the best place to start, so you may be best to find an auto-electrician who has the kit and know-how, and should then be able to go straight to the fault. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.TRS0&_nkw=vcds&_sacat=0

Oh yes!!! very nice collection :-)

Hi Julie....welcome to the Forum I think the easiest method to check where the fault lies is to wiggle the wires within the loom that goes from the pillar into the door while someone holds down the window or locking switch. When the motor works then you know that's where the fault is (either poor connection or broken wire). Let us know how you get on with it Cheers, Trevor

Hi Naomi....welcome to the Forum There are quite a few code readers on places like eBay but you would be best off with something like VAGCOM which is a lead (with OBD and USB ends) and software to put in your laptop. There are bluetooth versions available also but as the old saying goes....you get what you pay for! Good luck and let us know how you get on with it all Cheers, Trevor

TPMS ESP Auto/Start Stop Handbrake issues on my Audi A7
Trevor replied to kal's topic in Audi A7 Club
Hi Kaljit...welcome to the Forum From what I can determine from the codes, it does look to be speed sensing related which is affecting other systems such as cruise control. Hope you find a good garage to look at it for you and keep us in the loop as curious as to the cause of this issue. Cheers Trevor -
Hi Justin....welcome to the Forum It could be that the suspension hasn't been used to its limits for some time and if you constantly raise and lower it chances are it will ease up over time.

Hi .... and welcome to the Forum If you are interested, there is a Road Trip section in this Forum and it would be interesting to read the story behind the great pictures you have posted. Good to have you onboard and hope some more members come up with some info on your braking issues. Cheers, Trevor- 9 replies

superb piccys...you did quite a lot of work to the Eunos then? Mine is also a Eunos and quite honestly for £250 it is the best fun I have had in a car since the early 80's....drives like a go-cart and is bulletproof :-)

I have a mk1 MX5 (1991) and it is a superb little car which I have recently started to really appreciate (probably due to the good weather) but as you say they're a bit difficult to extract yourself from, especially after a long drive.
