  1. I would definitely log the fault with the warranty company now so that if it goes in the future then at least it was mentioned. Hopefully they'll give the go-ahead if its a common fault.
  2. Hi...welcome to the Forum Sounds like the turbo variable vanes are gummed up. Nothing that a good cleaning solution and a damn good blast up the motorway wouldn't cure.
  3. Hi Simon I would say that the curbing incident would definitely have shortened the link as you have discovered. I haven't actually come across unequal length lower arms before and if they were you would see the length comparison on sites like Eurocarparts where they list information about the product. Cheers, Trevor
  4. Hi Graeme...welcome to the forum Sorry for the late reply, only just read this post. I would try a cleaner first, especially if the car is only smoked around town. Firstly, I believe the fault is with a lazy sensor so a cleaner is a good place to start. I have previously used Halfords own cleaner as it looked the most aggressive with the most amount of Ethanol in it, along with an Italian Tune-up, worked a treat. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor
  5. That's a good point, I will pass it up to the guys who make them, cheers Looks great on the car
  6. Hi Dan...welcome to the Forum It could be wear in one of the CV joints but you usually only hear a clicking on acceleration and deacceleration if there is wear present. Otherwise, probably brake pads chattering due to missing anti-squeal shims. Cheers, Trevor
  7. Hi Paul...welcome to the Forum
  8. Hi Neil...welcome to the Forum I think Dan3222 has hit the nail on the head....just got to check the history of the car and try to find the best for your money. Let us know how you get on with purchasing one. Cheers Trevor
  9. Thanks for the update, always nice to know the outcome. If it's warm enough all year over there (not sure if it is) then you could by-pass the matrix by connecting together the hoses leading to the matrix.
  10. Blocked exhaust / cat, intercooler holed, fuel problem ??? I would scan it to see what codes and live data you are getting from it
  11. Hi Vladimir....welcome to the Forum Not sure what to say really....yes it sounds like a diesel should but then not sure about the clicking...sounds quite loud for a metallic sound. Best run it into a VW Audi specialist or dealer and get their opinion.....Cam Chain rattling or similar, best not delay getting it checked. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor
  12. I thought it was Tracy Island I think you're right Steve...it looks like McLaren. What do you do there Piotr ?
  13. HI Logan....welcome to the Forum Bit of a mixed bag for opinions really....worth reading the various posts in this Forum section to get a broad idea of problems, etc. Let us know how you get on with the purchase Cheers Trevor
  14. I don't think they are of a very good quality personally, especially to put on a Q7....you could always have a look at Black Circles who supply the tyres and then you find someone to fit them, may work out as a good deal for four tyres
  15. I would think it best to contact either the Audi dealer or Audi directly to ask them, maybe someone read off the pin incorrectly?
  16. wow...that's come up great Piotr, have to say didn't think it looked that bad until you showed the picture of it afterwards. great tip, thanks
  17. That's racing...start small and aim high !
  18. Hi Chris...welcome to the Forum How does that old saying go...'all good things come to those who wait' Good to have you onboard Cheers Trevor
  19. Hi Cala...welcome to the Forum I think the term 'bodge' is too broad...I tend to use the term 'adaptive engineering' Good to have you onboard Cheers Trevor
  20. Hi William...welcome to the Forum Not too sure about Caravan electrics but I could imagine it is something to do with the car electrics as nowadays everything has to run through the CanBus and you can't just wire up electrics rather it is case of fitting a specialist box of electronics to interface with the car. I would take it to a specialist to deal with Cheers Trevor
  21. she's certainly a beauty !
  22. Sounds tough work Steve Q but as you say....it can be rewarding. What sort of racing does your brother compete in?
  23. lol...we got the joke, Dan .... just wasn't funny (beware: banter being applied here!)
  24. Not sure about these new speed limits as have noticed my driving style is so much worse when I'm concentration on what speed I'm doing rather than what's going on with the traffic around me....ridiculous idea to reduce accidents, more than likely increase the accident rate....rant over!
  25. That's a good place to start...let us know how this goes, cheers
