  1. Hi.....welcome to the Club The 4.2 TDi will really need to stretch its legs so i would question if you are able to give a good run on a regular basis otherwise this can result in huge issues with DPF, EGR and anything else that could clog up with carbon, etc? Good to have you onboard and good luck with your search

  12. Hi....welcome to the Forum Very nice example considering its age...enjoy!
  13. Surprised about the low MPG. I used to regularly drive down to Nurburgring in my Honda CR-V 2.2 cdti and used to achieve over 50mpg at 80mph on a constant run. Around town and extra urban I would only achieve 40 - 45mpg at best. Strange that it only produced best mpg at higher speeds but opposite to your A6
  14. Have had issues with an Alfa Romeo and gave similar issues. Replaced the fluid with a lighter weight fluid (synthetic based fluid) similar to Citroen central hydraulic fluid which cured it

  17. Hi Sarah.....happy new year and welcome to the forum Glad you've made you mind up with the A4 🙂 I always found it daunting to know which car to shift and which to keep It helps as you get older and become content with a certain car and then don't tend to flit from one to another Good to have you onboard
