  1. You could try this company who make Tuning Boxes...run one on my car, absolutely superb and can be taken off if swapping to another compatible car https://www.diesel-performance.co.uk/systems_available.php?id=4478
  2. I agree with Brad-B5 about the turbo diagnosis...generally, the power flat lines but doesn't always throw up a warning lamp or codes. reset the ignition and off it goes again until it gets past that threshold again. Its down to sticking turbo vanes and can be cleaned out to cure it
  3. The only other option is to fit a double din unit with satnav built in http://www.iceboxauto.com/audi
  4. Hi Peter As Brad-B5 has stated, wait until the scan and then let us know what it comes up with...go from there Cheers Trevor
  5. The code comes up with ' Catalyst System; Bank 2: Efficiency Below Threshold ' as you state but there may also be a problem with the oil pressure sensor as well which they have picked up on

Hi Emma....welcome to the Forum I would probably take it back and try to locate an unlocked one on eBay http://www.audiownersclub.com/parts-results/A2/ECUs-Computers/61525 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A2-ECU-LOCKSET-DOOR-LOCK-SPEEDO-2-KEYS-FSI-89k-miles-1-6-FSI-036906013F-/252840957637?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368 Let us know how you get on with this Cheers Trevor
  7. oh dear! either the sensor wasn't fitted correctly and it's lost it's seal or similar or it's got an air lock and the coolant has belched out from the expansion tank/bottle and just needs topping up. Either way I would take it back and get them to sort it, especially if it wasn't doing it beforehand
  8. Hi Steve....welcome to the Forum What a great car, love the seven seats and how many miles???? A real testament to how good Audi can make cars Cheers Trevor
  9. You could always try the ones that clip over the tailgate which is fine but fiddly each time you want to use it.....but they are the cheapest ones out there I believe
  10. Hi David...welcome to the Forum Great looking car! and just in time for the sunshine! Cheers Trevor
  11. Hi Peter....welcome to the Forum Welcome also the wonderful world of Audi Cheers Trevor
  12. You can buy modules to switch it onto sweeping mode http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-Semi-Dynamic-Indicator-Module-AUDI-A3-A4-A5-A6-A8-/152491147353?hash=item23812e4059:g:AgkAAOSwzaJX-7h4 Think about £300 though and apparently not as good as the Audi method for sweeping
  13. I believe you need to code it in...there is a thread in the forum somewhere about this. If you look in the search bar at the top right corner and type in 'stalk' or similar its in there somewhere
  14. Hi Sam...welcome to the Forum Great looking car..love that wrap ! Cheers Trevor
  15. I think in the long term the TomTom is most definitely the best route...free updates, unlike Audi, no horrendous costs for installation and coding up, better option all round
  16. There are plenty of satnav update cards available on eBay but not sure whether you need to programme the new one in. Worth having a look on the MMI posts in this forum (Guides & Reviews section)
  17. Could try an external aerial upgrade, possibly?
  18. I would take it to a VAG specialist garage who can read the live data from the engine and determine which component is not working efficiently.
  19. It sounds like there is a short to earth within the lighter circuit. Best not put anymore fuses in until an auto electrician has traced back why it is blowing fuses in the first place.
  20. I would post this up in the following forum section (emissions updates) to see if anyone else has experienced this. http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/forum/93-audi-recalls/
  21. Best to go by engine code to accurately determine this....can you let us know it?
  22. They should just pop off...worth gently pulling at them rather than prising them off though. Generally, there are usually some fasteners within the arm rest area (if any armrests fitted) as they have to secure the weight of someone leaning on them.
  23. Hi Tom. I would definitely research that it has had Dealer servicing throughout it's history as it would be quite speciailist work no the R8. Also, that it has had any recalls and updates as well. Also, warranty is uber important with a car like this. Keep us updated on the purchase and would love to see some photos of it Cheers, Trevor
  24. Fingers crossed Karl, hope you don't have any further problems but do drop in and post and respond to posts at any time
  25. Hi Rich...welcome to the Forum Great choice of Audi.....mind you I don't think I could wait that long...it would drive me mad with excitement Cheers, Trevor
