  1. I have an Audi A4 cabriolet S line FSI 2L with a 56 plate. It has, without the shadow of a doubt, been the best car I have ever had, and I have had a few. I have had it since new and driven around Europe and it has given me no trouble until now, at 187,000 miles. The engine management light appeared and the garage have replaced the purge valve (dont really know what that is) and sensor, as a result of what the diagostics told them. But it is running like a tractor. It chugs along, I cant get it above 30 and it won't change up. The garage say that it needs further diagnostics but I just know that, and the possible remedy, will cost more than I can afford and well more than the car is worth. I love that car and can't bear the idea it will end up in a scrap yard. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to give it further life, if not for me, for someone else?
