  1. If you went to 17 inch it wouldn't make too much difference but 18 inch you would probably notice it. Increasing wheel size will always make the ride harder and the tyres will become lower profile.
  2. Yes it should fit fine. The roof is the same on all models.
  3. try http://germantechcars.co.uk/
  4. Hi James, welcome to the club! Good luck with hunting one down. Get some photos up when you get it!
  5. Could be petrol versions?
  6. Great if you can do it but wouldn't fancy having a go myself. Would be too worried about it leaking
  7. Not sure if it was standard back in 2008 but I'm pretty sure it is on the newer ones
  8. Did you have any luck drying it out? I would think as you said a breaker or ebay would be your best bet.
  9. What years the car? Out of interest why don't you want to go with the S3 side skirts?
  10. Not too sure I'm afraid but some cars so and some don't. Best bet would be to check in your manual to see if it reference it or failing that pop the cover off the back of the light and take a look :) Let us know if you do find anything though.
  11. I'm pretty sure this question has been asked before and the answer was yes it can be done but once you have added up all the parts required from Audi and the labour it gets VERY expensive.
  12. Depends what you want to spend on it really I guess. I'm sure I've seen sites offering OEM retrofits somewhere but they're normally quite pricy.
  13. Hi Chris welcome! Very jealous of your R8, try and get a few photos up when you can :P
  14. Glad you're enjoying it! Has your A3 got room for a double din?
  15. Yes it is technically illegal so at your own risk but like you said most inspections are just visual for the time being at least!
  16. The offset will just affect whether or not it sticks out or sits inside the arch. I would have thought that small difference would be ok but I couldn't guarantee it! Do you have the option to try one on there?
  17. Looks pretty smart. A little more power from the larger engine is always nice! :P
  18. Wow that does sounds steep. I would have expected over £100 but £240! Let us know how you get on!
  19. Hi and welcome! :) Why not start a project thread and update with pictures so we can see how you get on. With regards to wrapping, yes it is cheaper than painting and obviously it is non permanent but it never quite looks the same as paint. Depends if you like the look or not?
  20. I would have suggested ebay like you said. Either keep trying or maybe a scrapyard depending on the year of your car. Have you got a price from Audi out of interest?
  21. Sounds obvious but have you checked the wheel bearings?
  22. Hi Mick welcome! :) Could be a number of things. Injectors faults lead to a recall on some cars so worth checking this out. Also sensors like the MAF sensor and so on are worth checking!
  23. Hi J welcome! :) Sounds like a nice A3 I'm sure she will serve you well!
  24. I have also heard you need to remove the bumper to do this which is a bit of a pain. Let us know how you get on.
  25. Hi Daz, If it worked originally it will more than likely be a loose connection where you have pushed it in and it was quite tight. Could have popped something out so I would check this first. If it was the earth that wasn't connected it wouldn't have turned on at all.
