  1. Good news Alan glad you have got it sorted! :)
  2. Not heard of this being done before. Would be interested to hear if you manager to get this sorted!
  3. Hi welcome to the club! Sounds like a nice pair of Audis you have between you! :D
  4. The all-new Audi A3 Cabriolet has been completely redesigned. Wider, longer, lower - explore its new look in our video, from its sharp, clean flowing lines to a completely new roof mechanism....
  5. Sounds like it could be the compressor. This is a reasonably common fault I believe and apparently there is a rebuild kit available to buy.
  6. The correct spelling is accelerating but don't worry! Firstly, check the wheels and tyres and that's an obvious place to start. Any buckles or deformities etc If not then the multitronic gearbox can be known to cause problems unfortunately. I would take it to an auto gearbox specialist to take a look at it as a replacement will be very expensive.
  7. Sounds like it is just coded wrong. I'm sure an Audi dealer or specialist could plug it in and sort it for you.
  8. I believe Audi recommend 33 psi front and rear.
  9. Amacuk, sounds like a very nice Q7 with lots of kit on it! :) I believe the Sat Nav update has to be carried out at an Audi dealer as it needs to be licenced. With the blower, do you have the A/C on at the same time as this can help to dry it out quicker?
  10. Hi Amacuk, Welcome to the club! Will be good to see you around on here! :)
  11. It should definitely be possible and any custom exhaust place should be able to do it but just bear in mind it more than likely won't pass an mot without a cat
  12. Wow I've never heard of that many problems caused my aftermarket HID's. I know some of them vary in quality quite considerably but even so! I wouldn't have thought the climate panel would be related but you never know I guess! Have you checked the obvious such as the fuses etc?
  13. Not heard of this issue before have you plugged a fault code reader in?
  14. Give these guys a try. They are VAG specialists: http://www.awesomegti.com/
  15. Goodyear always seem to get a good write up at the moment
  16. Hi Matt welcome. You should post your own new member introductions thread :)
  17. Youtube is your friend! Check out some of the videos like this one. Different car but the principle is the same:
  18. Sounds good. What bulbs are you thinking of using?
  19. I would imagine you will need to remove the door panel first to gain access to the door handle?
  20. Check the obvious ignition related stuff first such as spark plugs etc
  21. Thanks James good info. Perhaps stick a guide up some time with photos?
  22. Hi check out this vide. It's an iphone but should give you an idea of how to do it on the car side:
  23. Hi and welcome to the club! :) Not heard of the problem myself but I would say it sounds like a misbehaving switch.
  24. No worries! As a 1999, it will be a facelifted B5
  25. Glad you got it sorted! Fingers crossed the light stays off! B)
