You would be better off buying yourself a TomTom. Free updates and half the price.

Not impressed with Audi Sat Nav, money would be better spent on a TomTom.

I quite agree, I complained about the incorrect speed limits displayed on some local roads 3or 4weeks after buying the car, only to have a very disinterested reply of, “bad luck, can’t do anything “! Since then, I’ve been very unimpressed with the SatNav, and when I go on a longer journey, I always put my TomTom in the car. I would never recommend Audi SatNav. I get free updates with TomTom, and the SD card for the Audi SatNav could be updated via computer download for practically no cost! But Audi make money wherever they can!

I have same problem, to the point that I will occasionally switch off the stop start, as it feels as though I've stalled the car. I mentioned it at last service, but no fault found.

I found errors on my navigation map when I picked up my 16 plate A3, new last year! I enquired about how to update the SD card, but AUDI had no update procedure, as far as I know, you still have to buy an updated card from AUDI at a huge extortionate price! You can buy a 32 G card for £20! When I go on long trip, I also take my TomTom with me! So good luck!

I would assume you're missing the sd card. For what they are, Audi charge an enormous price for them. Normally, you can update these cards on the internet, but Audi want to sell you the updated cards for a grand profit!

I've had no problems with my USB, so suspect connection issue?but worth trying a known reliable USB. Assume cd and sd working OK?

Anyone know how much it costs to change the cigarette lighter into 12v usb connector? I forgot to order the non smoking package when ordering my new A3 sportsback. Thanks.

Don't forget to have he non-smoking package, I.e. No cigaret lighter, but 12v connector instead. I forgot when ordered mine!
