  1. Thanks Steve, I does help if you let us know where you have tried and failed so far, to minimise the risk of us advising you to look where you have already searched. Can you provide a photo of the offending part? Can you get derivatives of the part with the same number but a later prefix letter to G? Kind regards, Gareth.
  2. Welcome Scott and thanks for joining, Is it the propshaft joint which is showing wear? If so, try Parts in Motion at Exeter. You are likely to get a good branded joint there, such as Febi. Perhaps you could let us know how you get on. Kind regards, Gareth.
  3. Hello ? ( could you please amend your name to its actual - if not possible, please let us know and we will arrange for Admin. to do it for us). Anyway, this is likely to sound pessimistic and dismissive, but I really don’t think anyone on here can be expected to diagnose the cause of your current issue, without access to the vehicle. If this were mine, I would be returning to the dealer who carried out the work, without delay, and getting them to re-examine it. Did you settle the (expensive?) bill by debit or credit card. Kind regards, Gareth.
  4. Blinking heck Tracy. Might be worth trying your local dealer, with apologies for not using them. Kind regards, Gareth.
  5. Just drive it back to the salesman Tracy and get him to do it. Kind regards, Gareth.
  6. ‘Fancy’ (potential trouble facility) MMI. What on earth was wrong with just pressing a button if you wanted to switch the HRW on, without ticks on screen?
  7. Buy yourself a multi meter Graeme- not expensive.
  8. Hello David, Please include more information, photos and price and post in the Sales and Wants section. Kind regards, Gareth.
  9. Hell James, Check for fractured wires in flexible harness twixt body and tailgate. Always aggravated by low temperatures affecting flexibility of wires. If these are OK, you need to look for breaks in the element - having tested you have 12volts at the connector onto the element. Kind regards, Gareth. Kind regards, Gareth.
  10. Sorry Dan, always dealt with him through EBay and messages. Kind regards, Gareth.
  11. Thanks Graeme, Don’t ignore the possibility of was working/isn’t working being due to a partially fractured wire within the flexible harness section twixt body and tailgate. Well worth an elimination check. Kind regards, Gareth.
  12. Thanks Dan, Well worth checking you have 12v at the compressor before coming to any decision. Kind regards, Gareth.
  13. It seems the OP did return to view Ian’s post of 5th Feb. but did not respond. Could be worth sending him a PM. Kind regards, Gareth.
  14. Thanks David, I would replace only one of the two mentioned parts at one time, and test, otherwise you won’t know which one was the culprit. Think sender is the easiest of the two, so I would be trying that first. Let us know how you get on David. Kind regards, Gareth.
  15. Thanks Graeme, Possibly a daft question to which I don’t know the answer:- Do these motors need coding to the car? Kind regards, Gareth.
