  2. Unfortunately Matt, It’s very rare/ does’t happen, that dealers will give you a part number if you are not actually buying the part from them. Exception might be if the part is obsolete.
  3. Hello Alan, I would suggest you get the battery efficiency and alternator output checked before renewing the battery - Halfords stores should be able to do that for you.   8. Welcome Gill, Just enter your registration number into say Parts in Motion’s website and that should hopefully give you an answer, based on cost and/oravailability. Many DMFs have become main dealer only parts at silly prices.
  9. Hello John, Possibly the same reasons why they have extended cambelt changes to ridiculous limits. Chances are the component will expire at some point where the repair costs become more than the value of the vehicle. Vehicle expires, and Audi sell another new car! Kind regards, Gareth.

  13. Welcome Mohammad, You first have to get the alternator output check - should be around 14.5V. Then, when the battery is charged, you will need to get its efficiency checked. Please let us know how you get on. Where is Tochdale? Kind regards, Gareth.

  15. Wherever you can find room for it Mohamed. Bit pointless having a spare wheel and jack, but no wheel race to undo the wheel nuts!
