Hell James, Check for fractured wires in flexible harness twixt body and tailgate. Always aggravated by low temperatures affecting flexibility of wires. Without being unkind, I really don’t think you should have been left to view and buy this car without a knowledgeable person being with you. Buying from any private individual who hasn’t had the car long is a recipe for potential disaster. Did you see the full V5 before you bought it, and was it registered to the address where you bought it from? Can I ask what mileage it has covered and how much you paid for it? Did you pay in cash, or by bank transfer? Are you sure the parts were the property of the seller? Did the seller give you a receipt for the money you paid for the car? Kind regards, Gareth.

Competitive prices and always good service. You can either go direct to their site, or have a look on their listings on EBay. Buy a reliable brand such as Febi or Bosch.
