Thanks mate, yeah ive done a search and found stuff but not much with the Bose system. I think mine is Bose BUT, I dont have the Bose badge on the speaker grills on the doors so not sure! Ive definitely got the subs in the boot though along with the external Amp. Aftermarket is what I want to get ideas of.

Hi all, I joined in 2016 having owned an A4 at the time, but just picked up on Saturday a 2004 Allroad - have been looking for one for a few years now and this one popped up at a good price! Here he is: (Nicknamed The Big Lad) Absolutely love it.

Today's question, how does one modernize the RNS-E unit with sometinhg else? Ive got the Bluetooth AUX on mine. I want to be able to ideally play music from USB but be able to answer calls over Bluetooth. I dont like playing music from my phone - with the BT interface you have to skip music or take valls by using your phone... No Thanks. Ive got the subwoofer(s) in the boot so I presume there will be an amp somewhere in the car - ill need to have that working with whatever the RNS-E gets replaced with. What are you all using? Thanks in advance.

Update - the 'other' key has randomly started working! Bonus.

OK something is going on. After I have clicked Save - its not saving the keyfob - the value goes back to 0. My Keyfob is not recognised at all but I did find one ion the car that is not from this car (off another Audi) which does say recognised - so my plan was to keep that with the working key and just sue it as a keyfob but Alas, VCDS does not seem to be storing the fob :(.

I think this is the BRE engine (PD) - It should say on your V5.

Hi all I have recently picked up an A4 2005, previous owner changed battery in the key and since then remote buttons on the key havent worked. Sure enough, ive tried to program the key the manual ways (In the ignition, turn on, hold buttons) to no avail. Red light blinks on the key. I have VCDS and upon going into program the keyfob that way, VCDS will not allow me to use the drop down at the top - select Remote Key Fob Adaption. Key works in the doors and starts the car fine. Faulty CCM? Any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have been thinking about what to do with this... I have superglued a Hard Drive magnet to the cradle - and also glued one to an old phone case on my iphone. The phone cradle is now magnetic lol and my phone sits on there lovely. Works fine! Better than not using the cradle at all and it just being an ornament.

Hi all, 2x Audi A6 Allroads, one is X plate (2000) and one is 2003. The 2003 has a fair bit of rust underneath and the lift suspension isnt working. bought the second A6 allroad (2000) in the hopes I could 'Rip bits off' to make the 2003 plate happy again. However, the 2000 plate is in too good a condition to rip bits off of. The 2k plate seems to not have the heated seats that the 2003 has, and the buttons on the steering wheel on the 2000 dont work for some reason. is the wiring loom the same on the 2000 as the 2003, so Could I add the heated seats from the 03 into the 2000 and plug them in ? Any Advice ?
