My 2.0tdi for a few months would shake intermittently in idle and also when accelerating normally. Around a year ago i had my egr valve change, for a different issue, so this rules this out as a solution? Today i went to a garage who replaced the throttle actuator (as EM sign came up saying it needed replacing- well it came off on and on), this now stops the car from juddering on idle (for now) but still shakes when accelerating. Not too confident on the garage as this fix cost me just over £400. Next step they said was to replace the transmission oil, if that doesnt work then transmission work, to replace the oil it isnjsut under £250. Few months back when i used to put the ac on it would reduce the juddering, but now doesn't make much of a difference Anyone had this same issue before? Any fixes that worked for you? Thanks!

Thanks all for your messages, I will get the manufacturers code and see if no get anywhere with that. The welding option I'm not too keen on, as we have zillions of potholes in the area I live in so probably higher risk of that crack appearing again. Last option now is to get one of the bad quality ones from the scrapyard that has one and get that refurbed!

I have attached rs4 style alloy wheels on my car, but one if them cracked, so need just one, and struggling to find one, either new or used (eBay, gumtree) won't sell singles or the ones that do are badly damaged! Anyone got any ideas where / what I can try? Tried some breakers but same again won't sell singles and the ones that I have seen that will are badly damaged! I don't mind slight marks but not hard core kerbings!

How did you get on Martin? I ended up going to icebox as recommended, as the system I got was an xtron and had 3 of them replaced so went to icebox for a good system!

Had a !Removed! nightmare with the xtron system, had 3 systems replaced, so ended up going to icebox, so far well happy, a few issues like sat mav not working and not getting a mic as i was told i would, but hopefully icebox will sort them out

How did you get on with your insurance quote? I just got my renewalcthrough and got a few online comparison quotes, mines gone uo by around £450 on average, but I've also got my 3 points in the last year too though

I went for am xtron system with some local guy, have had a few issues and now waiting for the third system to be installed! quote fed up of it now, I checked out the website above and they seem to have either xtron systems or something exactly the same but rebadged.

I asked a local stereo dude I wanted an original looking car stereo with bluetooth and screen mirror for my android phone. In the the space of three weeks I have had three from systems replaced for various reasons, and still not too happy with quality and options not working. Are there any reccomendstions to other systems that are like original and have bluetooth as well as screen mirror? Heard zenec systems are around £800, probably too much for my budget, xtron around £250, looming for something around £400 mark. Thanks!

Not too sure if the symphony is the same as a concert system? as I've literally just had my system removed today, faultless and clean concert system, double din system on my audi a4 2007 that i can sell if you want it?

I have a audi concert system with no bluetooth or mp3 option. Starting with bluetooth apart from using a parrot system can I upgrade my concert system to include bluetooth? If so whats the best option to go about this? Also if I can upgrade/ change can I also add a mp3 option? I'm very untechnified so probably couldn't do anything myself! Thanks
