  1. Hi Rich, sorry to read your car is playing up, i think you covered possible reasons if it was me i`d let a trusted garage take a look if they too cant see the issue start with the most cost effective replacement parts
  2. i`d treat it as if you had a puncher, you`d only replace the one tyre not both unless the other side looks below limit i`m sure the tyre fitter will advice you better
  3. your welcome m8, for the sake of a couple of hundred pounds its worth a go to see if it cures the car, if not then you have the hard choice of throwing more money at it. if it does not fixed it you have 2 options either scrap it for peanuts or break it, i would go down the break it road people are always after parts and ebay is your friend when it comes to breaking a car up, you have so many parts you can sell on that you will make money on it. just a thought Paul
  4. Hi Bav, sadly none still paying off my A6 but i`m sure at some point another member will ask for a price, £8000 is a good price for a lot of car, a client of mine has the advant version 2007 all black S6 5.2 FSI V10 Lamborghini Engine 2 great cars in one i`m jealous lol your going to miss it m8

  9. have you tried replacing the linkage? other than that you could hook the car up to vcds and see if you get any codes
  10. i would say yes it has to be Audi that do the service or repairs because they will want full service history when they come to sell the car on later as an Audi approved car i may be wrong
  11. This is dragging on m8, how much has this cost you so far? if it was me i would want to know just how much its costing so far or you could be in for a shock
