  1. @SirTT many thanks, was not sure if they where bolted on and would leave holes if removed will have to give this a go i think, personally i think the back looks cleaner without them on
  2. It`s a good day for me, Car passed its MOT only advisory - track rod end ball has slight play, but then i was expecting that, garage have said replace within the next 4000 miles and will do the job @ under a £100 not Audis quote of £469.57
  3. If your looking for your Audi user manual i came across this site which lists all manuals from 2008 onwards https://ownersmanuals2.com you will land on a page that will say "The page you are looking for does not exist." just select your car from the top right hand side of the page

  7. Sounds to me you found the fault already m8 have a garage check it over could be the motor is on its way out
  8. Battery cheapest option at the moment but no way i`m buying one unless it drains again lol @Magnet Battery was hooked up to a hand held machine which ran a test with engine on and off and with head lights on and off, was also connected to points in the engine bay

Update: Battery is fine, next step is to see if it happens again then back to garage and hook up to computer to see if any fault codes are given. i`m now thinking that may be my son who sometimes plays with the rear lights turned them on and i never noticed and over 2 days i haven`t used the car it drained the battery, at least thats what i`m hoping lol

All back up and running, will take it to local garage later to have battery checked , pic below shows the boot release button its located where the emergency triangle is kept, there is a 2" piece of plastic which pops out using a flat edge screw driver and its the white catch you need to slide across
  14. @niedzial1983 @Steve Q not sure if this is the original battery. problem i have now is getting the boot open to replace battery which is nearly 100% charged. time to google how to open audi boot with flat battery lol
  15. 18 views not 1 comment, anyway had enough power to unlock boot and battery now out and on charge, just need to figure out now what made battery go flat
  16. i now have an unsecure audi i can only lock the drivers door using the key and can not open the boot to get to the battery is there a boot release leaver i`m not seeing?
