So i spend most of Sunday washing cleaning and polishing my car getting it ready for Castle Combe only to wake this morning to find it covered in Saharan dust, i`m now back to square one.
My Audi is nothing special when it comes to Audis but still i want it to look great on the day, i guess i`ll have to start over lol
Hi and welcome to Audi owners club forums, we are a friendly bunch here and will help where we can.
What was the recall for?
Be interested to know what the horror stories are does it affect a lot of cars or just some.
Lovely sunny day so thought i`d make a start on getting my car ready for castle combe today was a wash and SUPER RESIN POLISH using Auotglym next step will be ULTRA DEEP SHINE.
As i had been a good boy and put together our ikea bits the wife let me loose on the car with of coarse Stella Artois in hand
Nice looking car m8, glad ur happy with ur choice. its personal choice when it comes to maintenance if you have a good garage near you that you trust then let them take care of the car. i use my local garage who are £40 an hour as appose to Audi who are about £100 an hour for the same work, you do the maths
"Track rod end - right side slight play advice replacement of arm and clip plus wheel alignment £469.57" aUDI QUOTED
Popped into local VW garage and showed them the paper work from Audi and said will check Track rod end whilst doing the MOT and advice if the work needs doing or not, should i need it replaced they will do it plus all wheel alignment for £120, happy with that
Hers my spec ..............

Johnny what can i say but wow if this was my car i would want Audi to take it in for repairs or better still replace the car for new and give me a replacement car till mine was repaired or new one when ready. I do hope all these problems are fixed for you.
I can now do all of the above only one to try now is "ambient lighting pack - footwell led and door strips led are lit during driving , can be adjusted in mmi,"
Piotr do you what section of the mmi i should be looking in?
