  1. If anyone is interested. It turns out I can post it for £7.99 I thought it was too large
  2. Dog Guard OEM Audi A6 C5 AVANT Black £10 Collection here in person, or if you arrange delivery, I will be happy to wrap it and send it I am near Barnsley, between the A1 and the M1
  3. Audi A6 2005 C5 Parcel Shelf Load Cover 5 Door Estate Black £50 I never used this, and forgot to include it when I sold the car last year. Collection in person, or if you arrange collection, I will wrap and address it. I am near Barnsley, between the A1 and the M1
  4. To add to this. I have tried resetting to factory settings, more than once, and it made no difference.
  5. I picked up an sd card which looks genuine audi. It seems to work, except that it shows me in a different location from where I actually am. As I drive along, the cursor moves as it should direction-wise, but it is still showing me in Leeds, though I am driving near home in Barnsley. That's about 25 miles away. Any advice, please? 🙂
  6. Thanks friend. Much appreciated. This site is a great resource. 🙂
  7. The Technic comes with sat nav, but when I bought this the sd card was missing. Can I buy and just insert it, or does it need coding? Thanks in advance for any advice. 🙂
  8. Thanks for taking the trouble to reply. Much appreciated. 🙂 A fsh is claimed, I will have a good look at the paperwork.
  9. This is the only real hindrance I can find to buying one of these cars. The advice I can find says it should not be using more than 0.2litres of oil per 1000km. Is there a way to assess this when I go to look at the car? Anything else I should particularly look for? It is a low mileage, about 30,000, and is 2014 I don't suppose there is any way to tell if the timing chain is stretched other than rattling?
  10. I finally took the filter out to have a look. The problem was the gasket beneath the filter was damaged. I replaced it about a month ago, and so far the problem has not returned.
  11. Speaking as an occasional poster. I appreciate all the advice I get. As soon as I buy a car, I join the appropriate forum. My mechanic does most of my work, but he is old school, so I often go in to collect the car, and he will tell me what he has done, and what he didn't have time for. Basically, if it is fitted with a nut and bolt, he is THE MAN, other than that, it depends. But, yes, please don't stop posting you petrol/diesel heads are great. THANKS 🙂
  12. I have a leak in the passenger foot well. I can't find the cause and it is intermittent. I am wondering if there should be a lid on my pollen filter? Meanwhile, I have drilled a hole in the floor grommet, so it should prevent severe flooding.
