  1. Hi Maureen Sorry to hear about you daughters accident. I believe the AA will come out and assess your daughters car for you and this can be used as an independent review which you could pass on to the Insurance company. The RAC might give a similar option. At least this would keep it official and something to argue against if it comes to it. Best of luck, keep us updated.
  2. Hi Mark Firstly welcome to the Forum you will find the people here friendly and helpful. There is also the facebook ( If you have it of course) page you can join where you can get info as well. For tuning info you can read through the performance Audi magazine which could give you leads or search ideas on google. There is www.tuningwerkes.com in croyden www.mdmtechnik.co.uk in Marlow There are more but I have tried to keep them local, but from their websites you can pick up the manufactures of parts and go direct. At some stage in the new year we are going to organise another session at Surrey Rolling Road, it is normally £40 per car and if you have had any Mods done it is worth trying it out. Graham
  3. Hi Sean I see what you mean about price The Part number looks like 8EO 827 574C. contact some second hand spares(i use silverlake) down here and they might be able to post something. Best of luck.
  4. Nice one Rob You will soon get your money back with a gain of 18mpg.

  6. Hi all I have now got my tickets and so will be coming along. I will drive up on the day as it is not that far. Happy to meet up with the group. so I will keep a watch on this thread to see what everyone is doing.
  7. Hi Martin welcome to the forum. Being that you are up in Scotland you will enjoy the quattro drive through the winter. It will give you a lot of confidence, especially if you have to drive in the snow. We had some snow this year☃️ and it left most cars behind.
  8. Thanks Edd Will try later. In the middle of some project work, albeit with slight distraction on the Audi Forum :-)
  9. I also had the P2452 fault. it was diagnosed as the DPF pressure sensor. At the same time I had lost about 120 miles per tank with increased fuel consumption and the radiator fan was always on. Since I had a full service and the pressure sensor replaced, I have got my original fuel consumption back and the fan is no longer on all the time. The garage charged £45 for the sensor and 45 minutes for the labour cost.
  10. Thanks for the write up Steve. It was a hot but great day and will certainly do it next year.
  11. Hi Luey For your prop shaft centre support have you tried Seat or Skoda as they generally use the same parts? Part number 1KO 521 349 I think

  21. All https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/news/worlds-fastest-tractor-joins-world-top-gear-beaulieu/ The top gear track-tor will be at beaulieu as it has just joined the other vehicles in the top gear section
  22. It looks like there will be a couple of us there anyway, so the extra few miles will help clean the DPF. I am Ok for about 7.30 for coffee.
  23. Hi all Just to catch up Are some of us going to meet at Rowhams services westbound and then onto Dibden Inclosure? It is about a 20 minute drive, leave the M27 at junction 2 and straight down the Hythe bypass road for about 8 miles, at the 7th roundabout turn right into the new forest. I am happy to meet at Rowhams. Edd, it is a bit out of your way m8 as you will need to go to Southampton Airport to turn round, Rownhams westbound is best for those coming from the east or north. Any thoughts?
