I know, I mean I haven't got a house yet so I don't need to worry about that stuff....yet lol any information on Audi A5 2008-2010? pros, cons ect?

Why is changing a nightmare? but i'd prefer to keep my car but It's not that I can't afford it its just annoying having to fork out all the time :(

I know I do love it but The constant repairs are getting too annoying now, had pretty much everything done now the gearbox needs changing and it was a pulsing engine or weather it's the gearbox not sure. need a diag but I'm just fed up now. :(

Now thinking of selling my current car Audi A4 b5 for a new Audi like a 2008 A4 or an A5 for 2018 maybe.

Hi Chris Hopefully someone with more experience in this can help but I will just like to add my 2 pence, if you suspect it being a possible battery issue could you try to test to make sure that AMP's are okay? Regards Bradley

Hi John Sorry I didn't say hi sooner! Sorry that you had a bad experience :( Frustrating they couldn't find anything, but hopefully it doesn't happen again, but as you learn the feel and sound of the car you'll maybe able to pick an unusual thing with it if it comes to that which hopefully it won't! Hi Mark this could well be the Issue, have you got the equipment in order to run a diag on the car to see if it picks anything up first? sensor not responding with ECU possibly? I'm not the best to answer this though. Hopefully someone with more experience in this will be able to help :) Regards Bradley

Aah you're not that far at all! I mean if you can get a video that would be better though, I know from experience not from doing the work myself so maybe someone with more experience from a garage would be a better option :)

Let's say the sound is to your left when you're driving so when looking at the engine bay it will be on your right ;) and there's no other symptoms at all other than a noise?

Are you sure it's around the wheel side and not on the left side of the engine bay?

Hey all! right Update time! I've Had a new EGR as it was "farting" (knocking, tapping) also had a engine manifold seal changed, new front window wiper motor (well second hand but in good condition for fraction of the price of a new one) Air con re-gas and clean Now I have nice cold air (finally) and had a full service done too. last year was a new Turbo which changed it also So in the long run I have wanted to make this car new again, yes I could of bought a new car but this car is mine and I love it :)
