  1. Indeed, it's not a huge problem ( I hope) the only annoying thing is the judder on take off but gets worse as the car gets warmer and the knocking noise happens (like in the video) also I noticed yesterday! it makes that clicking sound when i put my foot down on the clutch in first gear and sometimes second too. Thanks for the help Trevor
  2. How much usually does it cost for a new transmission?
  3. Hi all, Since having a new clutch I've noticed that after a while (usually in traffic) this clunking noise happens when I've used the clutch a lot, thoughts? also theres still clutch judder but I have my clutch and flywheel changed under warranty but still happens, having my engine mounts (3) and a control arm (1) replaced soon. It sounds like the noise is coming from the top part of the engine, when its happening theres no change in revs, or anything else. only stops after taking off, it doesn't go if I lift the clutch up a few times. Thanks all Video below. 20161203_135023[1].mp4

  14. I've heard a lot of good things about Mr muscle fixing turbo issues (due to sludge and blockages) go with Darren's suggestion and report back to us :)
  15. I had this and my turbo (blades can't remember the name) was wobbling, which resulted in me having a pressure leak fault code come up, got told it was limp mode and cases of turning it off and on again resulted in a short term fix. You should never keep doing it as it will get worse because you're "shocking" the turbo Regards Bradley

  22. I agree with Robert, Unless you do alot of miles or take the car out for long rides on the weekend it could be tricky going for diesel, clogged DPF is never a good thing lol
  23. Hi Steve Welcome to the forum, I'm not too clued up within the area, so hopefully someone with more experience will comment. Have you made sure all cables are fine? did anything happen before this happening , like randomly stopping or slow moving ect? hopefully it isn't the motor. Regards Bradley
  24. Hi Rhys Have you had it scanned for fault codes? that would be your best bet. Tell him not to do this as it will/could worsen the problem, but this sounds like a case of limp mode, is it when your dad does long journeys? but this could mean a new turbo but before doing anything, your dads first priority would be to have a diagnostic on it. Also is it rough on idle at all? keep us updated on how it goes Regards Bradley
