Hi Dactyl Sorry for the long wait for a reply! I'd say 10-11K (that's what I'd be happy to pay, but you could always for 12k so if anyone trys to barter with you it could go down to 11k? would that be good? at the end of the day it's what you want for it :) Regards Bradley

MPG can take a while to go back up from being low i notice, (I have a A4 B5) but if you're feeling skepticle then have a interim service and also ask them what they say, also as a test take it on a long journey and see if the MPG changes at all. I drove with a duff turbo and my MPG went up but when I got it fixed it went down to 40.7 from 42.1 which it is a stead 40.7 even with me putting my foot down and short journeys during the week (I understand it's a different car) How long have you had it and driven it for? you could use this thread as a tracking thread? Also is there any smoke coming out the back? maybe have the car have its fault codes read to be 100% safe and sure. Thanks :)
-
Hi Raf I would suggest getting it into Audi or Audi Specialist to get the codes read. this would be your best bet, people may be able to come up with different problems but it is like finding a needle in a haystack that way. Hope that helps :)

Hi MrSweet Was you Driving the car around with a duff turbo before? also it has been cold out, do you use it on long journeys at all or just around the town? this will definitely affect the MPG. Kind regards Bradley

Hi Jody Welcome! Audi's are built with very strong engines, that be Petrol or Diesel (renowned for there long lasting diesels), 65K isn't alot but then it all depends on how the last owner drove the car. is this from the actual Audi dealership or somewhere else, they can do a look over to make sure everything is okay :) both nice cars btw! Regards Bradley

Hi Joemackem Welcome to the forum! :) I'd say with the Audi TT, as with all cars depends on the Milage, what Milage has it got? Will it be a daily it or for abit of fun? Regards Bradley

I like both, at the end of the day it's if you like it and it will fit around your life style, I'd say go with your gut :)

AH okay! haha, different turbos from a different audi that bolt straight on I'm not sure sorry :( but if you wanted to have bhp gains like that then probs do a stage 2 remap and change the clutch and air filters, but then maby need to change for a bigger turbo. There are other Audi pages out there, all are active but it's just that we have alot of people sign up and ask question but not many people tend to respond :( so we try our best anyway, hope the community can grow! :)

Hi ap3491 What color is the smoke coming out the back? Different turbos unfortunately I'm not 100% sure with that (Sorry) I would think a 6 speed gearbox would be better if you're thinking of doing the car up for higher speed, good for drag racing ;) If you do change the turbo it all depends on the turbo really how big it is, what stage remap would you be looking for, 1,2 or 3? also how much BHP have you got and want? Thanks Bradley

Hey ap3491 Welcome to the forum!

Hi Peter I don't fully understand the scenario with regards to speedometer miles. Are you saying if you change the head unit will it keep the miles that the car actually is or if it will still show the miles it had on the "New" unit? Also if you wanted to change the miles on the new head unit that would be "illegal" having a look online. Hope someone else can give you a better understanding/help with it. Regards Bradley

Can u use a mass airflow sensor of a 2ltr on a 1.8 Audi A4
Brad-B5 replied to Steve milo's topic in Audi A4 (B5) Forum
When you say a 2 liter do you mean because theres (what people say) 1.8 liter 115 bhp, 1.9 liter 115-125bhp and a 2.4 liter. the different i can imagine may lay in the bhp, more power more air flow ect. Thanks -
Hi Minivanman Nice to have you here! The A4 (B6) is an amazing car (work horse)! Hope you find everything that you need on here (I'm sure you will) Regards Bradley

Hi sw3103 We hear you, hang on and someone will give you a good answer soon that will help :) Best of luck Regards Bradley

Hi Steve I can't see why you couldn't (I have the same car as you) :D but have you looked at the differences in them at all? But I can't imagine the difference to be great or anything for that matter. Keep us updated! Regards Bradley
