  1. Hi Peter Have you tried whocanfixmycar.com ? I've used them once and found a specialist that I'm always going to use now :)
  2. Agree with @Trevor Also theres all different parts of the turbo, Have a look at this link, its the circle bit at the top/next too your turbo buts it's apart of the turbo. http://www.gfb.com.au/tech/troubleshooting/20-blow-off-valve-leaks-boost Look at the picture linked :) Different cars have different positions for the turbo, look for a big pipe then play the maze game with it lol Good luck anymore help needed don't hesitate to respond back! :)
  3. Nice Looking car! Not moving? have you tried a flame thrower yet? XD Keep us updated :)
  4. Hey Lukes Unfortunately I don't know but hopefully someone will know the answer and respond soon! :D
  5. Hi Surfwill123, Sounds to me like a a breather pipe going to the turbo (usually plastic) , have it go into a diagnostics that's your best chance. drive carefully until this is done. other issue could be the Turbo (sorry) but even though you're unable to feel a difference in speeding up, only in first could mean one of the blades in the turbo has very slight movement. I'd highly recommend going for a diagnostics to prevent further damage. Keep use updated and good luck! Bradley
  6. Welcome back to the dark side Nigen, Enjoy your stay and hope you find everything of use within the forum :)
  7. Also just like to chuck an Alternative out there, whocanfixmycar.com, see what everyone quotes you to do the job could be really cheap :)
  8. Only unless you're unlucky, but newer models don't tent to have faults like that, it could be more electrical (Because of more tech) but then again any new car and model could have so I wouldn't worry. What Audi you looking to get? Cheers Bradley
  9. Okay, I might go for it :)
  10. Only thing is I dont want to damage any components by doing the upgrade :( its a 16 year old car yes only 103k miles but still :/
  11. Yes we love Audi but we also share a love of bikes and other vehicles so bring in the love haha I'd like to have a Remap on my Audi A4 B5 (1.9 TDi 115 BHP) still goes after new turbo, use Shell V+ ect
  12. Loose connection? when you've driven for 20 mins and unlock it (when it works) does it make a different sound at all or sounds normal? Can you unlock it using the actual key?
  13. @nellyboy__ What Trevor said, it's this system that just runs through the things, (more of a reassurance thing) that Audi put in place :) if there is an Issue with the car a symbol will pop up and stay on at all times. if unsure run a diagnostics on the car ;) Bradley
  14. I haven't so this isn't through experience of having one fitted, Sorry but anything that will allow better air flow will (should do anyway) help increase power or help with MPG and with the engine breathing better it may also Make the engine quieter and smoother. Shouldn't be classed as a mod unless theres is a performance gain (add more BHP) such as a Remap or tuning ect. NOTE: Not through having it done, hopefully someone who has had it done replies. Hope this helps :)
  15. Hi all! So what have people done to there Audi's so far or planning on doing this year? Remap? New Turbo? Also Lets see some pictures of a before an after (if you want) :D
  16. I agree with @James, I had this issue, resulted in me having to have a new turbo then a new ECU but run proper diag first. but yeah exactly the same issue! so I feel it's the Turbo, It's going into "Limp mode" UPDATE: 2 years old this post, still look at my response for anyone having the same issue.
  17. Hi all I'm Bradley, proud owner of a Audi A4 B5 (2000,1.9 TDi, 115BHP) for about 3 almost 4 years now. Lurked for a while now, glad to be here :)
