  1. Gareth, Car was nearly new, was an ex demo with 3.5k miles on it registered March 2015, I drove away with it Oct 2015. Have uploaded a slightly better pic from the Audi cam vid of the bottom left. Jim
  2. Yes, I'm regularly on salted roads first thing prior to rush hour. I am guilty of not washing it enough this winter. Magnet, thank you for the advise. I've found a local independent Audi specialist, will get them to put it up on the ramp for a thorough inspection next week.
  3. I had the first major service on my A3 (2015 2.0 TDI 184 S Line) today on 18.5k miles. The Audi health check picked up corrosion on the outer edges of all 4 break disks and scoring across them (see pic), especially the rear disks. Was put down as an advisory on the report. Now I can understand pads are more susceptible to driving style and might be in need of replacement by this stage but surely disks shouldn't be corroding under 20k miles. Do I have a leg to stand on under warranty? Any know of any defects with A3 breaks corroding sooner than expected? They quoted £760 for 4 discs and pads which I have passed on for now for a second opinion. Thanks
