  1. Unfortunately I know very little about cars. I can't help but think now that I should not have bothered to take it to Audi. You say I should drive carefully but at the moment the light is on all the time, the fan seems to stay on for longer than it should and I swear the fumes are worse (smell is stronger) than prior to what ever they did during the update process. Perhaps I'm just being paranoid but if this is the start of something going wrong, what problems or signs should I be expecting or should I look out for, particularly if my car could be dangerous to drive? Thanks
  2. Hi i also have A4 sdi first year of new shape. I had emissions update on the 15th. All seemed ok at first. A few miles later emissions control light permanently on. Also fan stays on for a long time after switching engine off after very short journeys (3miles). It's Booked in again in two weeks time. Earliest they could do and have said if I break down then it's my cost not theirs. Car was perfect before it went in for update! They also said they will investigate the issue and if it's theirs they will fix at no cost but it's mine then I will have to pay. I can't help but feel a little pessimistic after reading other's problems
