  4. The module needs to be coded. The part number should match yours. But the last letter can denote an updated version
  5. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be an issue with the selector or module
  6. It can be fixed. Down to the dealer to sort.
  7. I'd advise getting a second hand one from eBay or similar
  8. Definitely sounds a boost problem. Brake issue could be a servo issue. I had this on my A6.

  10. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 lovely Audi you have there 👍
  11. Oh wow didn't know this was a thing. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  12. I doubt it would fit. Might be worth you speaking to powerflow exhausts to see about them making you a custom exhaust. My brother and friends have used them and been happy with the results
  13. Hmm dealers don't usually fit aftermarket alarms etc. This will have been fitted by an owner.
  14. I can't speak for Audi, but I had continental tyres on my ford Kuga daily and have to say I was shocked on how fast they did wear out. Got 15k miles out of them in the end. They must be a soft compound. Needless to say I personally won't use continental for this reason. My A6 used Bridgestone tyres. But cant comment on wear as it's only doing 6k miles a year.
  15. As I tell anyone who buys an old Audi. Regardless of how cheap the car becomes the bills always remain expensive.
  16. Is it an electronic tailgate or are you trying to close it manually?
  17. Think the car might need to be booked in with an auto electrican.
  18. The engine temp gauge read normal. As it could be the thermostat. In failing that you could do a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up as there could be an issue with the heater module, control unit etc.
  19. Check the service history. Is it full? Has the gearbox oil change been done on time. Has the quattro system been serviced on time. Do all electrical items work? As they can be expensive to fix. Does the AC work. Check YouTube for buyers guides.
  20. I fitted A6 c7 ones to my A6 c5 as they're the fan type. You might need an adapter plate. My guide can be found in the A6 c5 section
