  1. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up or to reset the mmi to see if that resolved it.
  2. I surprised Audi can't help. I'd definitely get it booked in with them or an Audi specialist. Have you tried to reset the unit?
  3. Is this a feature that can be activated? There was talk that this feature was going to be outlawed. It's outlawed in certain European countries already.
  4. Could it be burning oil? Any smoke from the exhaust? I'd still recommend getting it checked by a garage
  5. You're welcome 🙂 don't forget to check out the events section. You'd be more than welcome to display your Audi on our club displays 👍
  6. Hello all, Starting to prep for the arctic circle road trip. These are the upgrades I'm considering. I'd appreciate your thoughts. Pic 1 - I have roof rack similar to this one. Pic 2-4 30mm body lift kit which mounts to the top of the suspension. Pic - 5-6 numberplate spotlight bar. (On order) Pic 7-8 towbar luggage rack (potentially) Pic 9-10 steel undertray Also I'd like to fit tyres with a taller side wall. Current tyres are 205/55/16. Would 205/80/26 all terrain tyres fit? Thanks for any advice received.
  7. Yep it'll need to be coded. You might find you need a different antenna. Might be worth you speaking to autologics or Audi retrofits to get more advice. Members have used both of these with success.
  8. Yep I'd take it back. Could it be something catching on the wheel?
  9. When my old battery was failing on my c5 it would trow up braking light warnings.
  10. Welcome to the forum Dave you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  11. Yep could be a power steering issue. If it's been purchased from a dealer within the last 30 days then you are entitled for the dealer to repair it FOC or for all your money back
  12. I'm not sure if there is a way you can find out.
  13. Yep, but unfortunately all manufacturers seem to find off these days. I've experienced it with VW, Audi, ford and vauxhall.
  14. Great info that. I hadn't even thought it'd be on the app 🤦‍♂️
  15. I feel your pain, main dealer doesn't stock parts for my A6 which is a similar age. I've had to resort to buying parts from eBay, even internationally. You can put the part number in the eBay search bar too and that might show results. As yours is a 1.8t it might be worth you looking for the parts under the A3 8p 1.8t or golf MK4 1.8t as the engines are the same I believe.
  16. Is it an auto or manual? I'd recommend getting the brakes checked.
  17. Am I to assume wet carpets? Check the battery tray area to see if those drains are blocked. Also on the A6 c5 the pollen filter housing can crack. Not sure if the A3 8l suffers the same but worth a look.
  18. I'd recommend speaking to autologics or Audi retrofits as either of them should be able to help

    Air bags

There are plugs under the seats. These need to be disconnected when removing the seats. Otherwise it's just a case of unbolting them.
